Your Journey Begins - Base Coat- Kaisercraft

Hi there everyone
Hope all is well!!
Sometimes I love to create just for me,
it is so great to be free to create
whatever my heart leads me.

So here I have created a page called
"From this day forward your journey begins

The title is from my leftover stash
from the "Imaginarium Designs
chipboard Design Team that I was very
fortunate to be on last year.
Now usually this title is used for a
wedding page, but the other day
my daughter and I went for a walk
around to a nearby park,
I took some photos of her walking
along this rocky path.

I thought this title would be great for this page
What do you think??

Using the KAISERCRAFT - BASE COAT
paper collections
(ONE OF MY FAV's at the moment...LOVE LOVE LOVE)
I just could not resist to scrap these
photos with this paper collection.

That's it for me until much
later this week :)
Have a great week everyone :)

Thanks for looking and thanks
to everyone who is kind to leave
a comment below
I really do love reading them so much.

Letters from Paris - Vintage Beauty

Hi there everyone,
I had a bit of time today to create
something a little different.
I do love vintage images
and had to create a Vintage Beauty layout
with images available from Meg's Garden.
All the paper elements,Transparency flourish,
French Writing Ephemera around the photo are from
Meg's Garden WEBSITE as well.

Imaginarium Designs Chipboard frame bird flourish and mini alphas. I first applied texture paste on the background with a stencil, sprayed some mist and stamping around the edges with my favourite stamp.
A piece of  tea dyed lace and flowers cluster from some small flowers.

Chipboard dragonflies and diecut of dragonflies.
I applied a little glitter on them.

The quote on the image is from
a Kaisercraft rubon.

"It is her beauty that captures your attention,
It is her personality that captures your heart"

Letters from Paris!!!!

Thanks for looking, thanks also to everyone
who leaves a comment below.
Cheers Adriana XX  :)

OUAS - Guest for February

Summer Love
To celebrate the new release of Meg’s Garden
papers, ‘”Ode to a Summer’s Day”
designed by Denise Ann.
Meg’s Garden Design Team are
special guests over at
ONCE UPON A SKETCH”
for the month of February.
Each Meg’s Garden Design Team member has
created a layout based on the sketch
and theme for this month.
More details are here

This months’ theme we celebrate
St Valentine's Day here in Australia
and in many parts of the world.
Love takes on many forms of relationship love, parental love etc etc.
So let's think about what the above quote
can mean and how you can interpret it on a layout.   You are free to scrap about any kind of love
you wish however you like based on a sketch provided at Once Upon a Sketch.
Ideas for journalling: love for your partner, family, parents ,siblings , children, work, students, craft, music, extra curricular activities!

If you enter in the challenge at Once Upon a Sketch this month there is a Prize package of some Meg’s Garden papers.

http://megsgarden.com/

This is a layout of my Darling Daughter, Jessica,
we love her so much and  I wanted to say
why we love her.

Love the sketch that Nadia has designed this month, but I made a heart shape instead of the circle reflecting on the love theme. The journaling on the side states:
“ We LOVE you because you are funny, carefree, beautiful person.
You are sensitive, sensible and intelligent.
You are our daughter, granddaughter,
cousin, niece and friend.
You are loved always,
live the life you want.
Love life everyday.”
