Fun Ride - Kasiercraft "Save the Date"

I have today a layout to share that I have created
for the Kasiercraft Design Team ,
using the new paper range from

when she was about 3 years old,
she would love going on the rides
at the shopping mall.
This was one of her favourite rides.
I made the pinwheels that are on the layout with the paper collection.

The Bride - Layout for Meg's Garden

The next layout is one that I have created for Meg's Garden DT work. Check it out here

I wanted to create some pages of my Wedding for some time, but never got around to it. So here is a page of me as The Bride, 14 years ago. That was a very special day for me, one that I will always treasure. On that day it was raining the whole day and we had a Garden Wedding, but lucky for all of us, it stopped raining just for that 45 minutes to perform the ceremony.
Heaven answered my prayers. Then we had 120 guests all for a Wedding Lunch, it rained the time we were inside the function centre, but it didn’t matter to us, we were inside and had a wonderful time.”

I dyed the laces with glimmermist. I also created a silver/blue rose with Forget Me Not papers and stamens using the Tim Holtz tattered florals die cut. I love the combination of pink and green papers, so soft and pretty.

Materials used from MEG”S GARDEN.

CSI#29 - SHADES

"The future is so bright, I gotta wear shades."

Do you remember that song, with these words in it,
I know it was a long time ago!!!!.
I had this photo of my DD wearing shades for the first time many summers ago, I saw the challenge
at CSI check it out here
CSI NING and had to play along with this one.

Love the colour palette in this challenge,
it just screams summer.
For the Evidence I have chosen - Stripes - (well i think they are more criss cross yellow stripes), the other evidence is that I painted and sanded the wooden pop sticks, and
also placed the photo at an slight angle.
Testimony - documenting a summer experience, wearing shades for a hot summer day.
Journalling long strips of top of layout.
Journalling reads

"The future is so bright,
I gotta wear shades,
A moment lasts all of a second,
but the memory lives on Forever."

Here is my layout:

CSI # 29 - Shades

materials used : Imaginarium designs Alphas
Green tara crystals, lace and flowers
Kaisercraft flowers (just the pink spray)

Here is the challenge information
and colour palette.

Have a great week everyone, &  a big Thankyou
to everyone who takes the time to
write a comment on my blog.

Every child needs a gentle hand

Close up of my layout

Kasiercraft - Attitude Layout
100% BOY

My next layout that I have created for Kaisercraft Design Team
has been posted on the Kaisercraft Blog,

Check out the other DT members layout here

I just loved these "Attitude!" paper collection. It is a great opportunity to create pages for the boys and men in our lives. I love the grungy feel and graffiti appeal of them. I’ve used photos of my nephew, isn’t he so cute! I’ve cut the Rebel paper along the sides of each wooden plank and distressed them on either side and then with inked with black and brown ink. This created a fence look to the page. Inked some graffiti with a mask with white ink. I embellished the page with Kasiercraft stickers and kaisercraft collectables.
I hope I have inspired you to create some pages for the boys and men in your lives. Here is my layout
