"Best Wishes" card by Adriana Bolzon
Using Kaisermists I sprayed the outer part of the card, after I embossed the card stock with the feather embossing folder, I slightly used the ink pads
IP724723 Vintage, and also IP727 Lagoon, these colours go really well together.

"Dream" card by Adriana Bolzon
This card is created with the papers from the small Boho Dreams - paper pad PP999 and adding some Kaisermist ink colour to the feathers, with a paint brush. Once I had embossed my card stock with the embossing folder,  I cut out the embossed feather and placed it on some foam tape and black card stock.
The word "dream" was cut out from Glitter Cardstock and die cuts words,
I then Added a string ribbon and some flowers, for extra decoration.

So, I hope I have inspired you to look at these new June Kaisercrafat paper collections, which are all available now at your local scrapbooking store, they are both worth checking out this month.

Until next time

Exploring Santorini Layout - Couture Creations

Hello there everyone, hope you week has been good to you, I am super excited today and I am sharing with you all another paper creation for Couture Creations. With the latest release papers
SEA BREEZE designed by Denise Boddey.

Today, I have created a special layout with the Sea Breeze Collection PackThe collection pack included 12 papers (6 designs with 2 of each) and a sticker sheet. I also used one of new Sea Breeze die called
"Collecting Sea Shells" C0724695

"Exploring Santorini" layout by Adriana Bolzon

Firstly, I created a little textured piece for the bottom of my photograph with corrugated cardboard, some white gesso and White Net C0724733.
Just apply some white gesso to the roughly cut corrugated cardboard and gently add some of the new White Netting, the gesso should act like a glue for this. Apply gesso all over the white netting as well.

I then added some colour with inks and sprays, till I was happy with the end result. Have a fun play yourself, its great fun. I also later added some tea coloured muslin for extra texture.

I matted my photograph with a couple of layers different coloured card stock and layered them top of each other, some layered with foam tape and other with just double sided tape.

I placed the photo in the centre of Sea Breeze paper and adhered the corrugate card stock under the photo.  I cut two of the Sea Breeze "Collecting Seashells die" C0724695 and rubbed some vintage inks over the top to colour them in. Glue them on either side of the photo.

Spray inks on all the White flowers, apply some Giltzin Glitter Glue in the centre of flowers, Fuzzy cut the Lighthouse and all the shells and label piece. Attach these with foam tape to the layout as shown below.

Arrange and glue down the shells, flower and lighthouse as shown below.

Fuzzy cut the Banners from the Sea Breeze papers, adding other cut out triangles and some string tied in litre bows. Attach with foam tape to the top left hand corner of layout.

Add some Glitzin Glitter Glue to the shells and flowers.

Stamp sentiment "Explore" and attach to the bottom of photo.

Ink all the edges of the layout, sprinkle some vintage paint over the top and bottom of layout.

So that all for today, I hope you like this collection as much as I do, here below are all is the links to the latest online magazine and with some wonderful creations to inspire you all, and also links to the all the products.

Travel Journal - "Just Landed" Kaisercraft

Hello and welcome, Adriana here today, sharing my projects that I have created with the latest paper collections from Kaisercraft.
"Just Landed" Paper collection

This new paper collection is a fabulous one for capturing the memories and journeys of travel. We visited Italy recently and so I wanted to capture and create a very inexpensive travel journal or memento - with many photos of our trip, I have called this book-  Journey to Italy. I still have to write in my journalling parts but I want to show you how you can create a very easy book with Large oversize Envelopes.  I will be writing my journalling notes neatly in the spaces of my journal book but for now you can see all the lovely photos of my travels.
Before I show you all my project here as just a few suggestions on how to journal or write while travelling.

While you are travelling and still fresh in your mind, you may think that it could be a bit silly to record details of your trip but sometimes details are forgotten. So, here are some tips and prompts to help you write about those details in a journal or notebook. I wrote my thoughts and details in a little pocket book diary and I will transfer those notes in this Travel Album that I have created, so that I can add my photos, tickets and like notes inside my journal album.

You may be stuck about what do I write about, well here are some pointers to help you get started.

* Write about your anticipation, what you are looking forward to the most about your trip.
* List the events of each day
*Record your costs  & purchases
*The highs and lows of the day
*Any major news events that happened during the trip
*The weather
*Unusual foods or new words you have learnt.
* Document the local people and record conversations
*What you learnt from your sightseeing during the day.

JOURNAL / TRAVEL ALBUM

Check out SNAPGUIDE on how to make this unique journal, using large over sized envelopes.

Cover all the front / back / and inside with "Just Landed" papers
collectables, stickers, stamping, let your creativity unfold. Add photos, words, tickets of the places you visited.

Within each pocket I have created a fold out insert, which you could add more photos and journalling.

Fold out inserts for pockets

Please enjoy these photos of my journal book - Journey to Italy.
There are so many photo of this book, I thought I would showcase it here on
the  SNAPGUIDE

Until next time, big hugs XX

Cheers Adriana XX

Altered Book - A Vintage Journey challenge

Hello Everyone and Welcome to my blog
Hope you are all doing good and have enjoyed a great week.

I have missed joining in on challenges over the past few years, due to Design Team commitments and with hectic life in general, I guess you can't do everything!!!
There is one challenge site that I have been eager to join in on the fun, it is called A Vintage Journey

To all the peeps that know me, well I love anything Vintage, and
the Lovely Astrid is the host for this month challenge at A Vintage Journey
and her chosen challenge is

'Embossing Pastes/ Texture

This is what she says :
'Use any kind of texture paste, homemade, crackle, coloured or plain on your project . There is an endless variety available so play, have fun and apply it to your hearts content. Use it through stencils, randomly or in whatever way you want but remember it should be in one of the vintage, shabby, mixed media, art journaling industrial or steampunk styles that we favour. Put on your mixed media hat and create some magic.'

What a fabulous Challenge and looking at all the inspirational designers and entries projects inspired me to join in.

So here is my project for the challenge, An altered book,
I just spread some Texture Paste through a stencil.

I love to alter old books, this was an old book I bought from an op shop for $1. I cut out the pages and used the cover, back and left the spine intact.

Front cover of altered book

Back cover of altered book
I coated the whole of the outside of book with Gesso, then
Using a Kaisercraft stencil (T602 Damask ) and spreading the Texture Paste over the stencil pattern, directly on to the book cover front and back.
I left it to dry for a couple of days.

Detail of metal embellishments and texture paste with stencil

I then glued some lace, calico die cuts, metal embellishments from my stash
(it feels so good to to be able to use some of my stash that has been in my craft room for years)

Front Cover of book

Adhering Tim Holtz metal elements & some other Metal embellishments, I glued them on to the cover and back of book. I also applied another coat of gesso here and there.

I then painted the whole book with Distress Paints, (Broken China, Rusty Hinge, & Wild Honey) while the paint is still wet I sprayed water on to the paints to spread it around on all of the textures.

I left it to dry for a day and then added some
Couture Creations Glitzin' Glamour Glitter Glue - Crystallina

on to the Metal Dragonfly. (this looks so so pretty and glittery)

So I hope you like my Altered Vintage Book,
now I have to make the pages for the inside and
decorate them, I might make it a Art journal book.
