Winter Wonderland

So sorry I have been missing in action for a most of last week, we had some school holiday fun in Queensland. It was a wonderful family time but also some relaxing time. Thank goodness for blogging schedules in advanced, maybe you didn't even notice that I was away. Anyway catching up on some of my creations today.
Here is my "Merry Christmas" layout designed for
Meg's Garden.

In Australia when we celebrate Christmas time we are in our summer. Usually our Christmas time is spent going to the beach, having BBQ’s, eating seafood, relaxing with friends and family. But in the northern hemisphere Christmas is celebrated in the middle of their Winter. Lots of snow, cold temperatures but it is a beautiful sight. One day, I would like to experience a wonderful White Christmas.
I created a page showcasing the new papers Designed by Denise Ann and
available from Meg’s Garden.
This new paper collection is called “Musical Christmas”
So rich in colour, with accents of blue, gold and white.
The background paper is called “Plum Pudding” and the banner words are from the small strip that comes with the“Noel Noel” paper. Using the German scrap border to decorate the edges and photos,
they just highlight the colours in these gorgeous papers. I just love that song
“Winter Wonderland” so I printed the words of that song and included them on my layout.

Materials used from MEG”S GARDEN.

Halloween Witch - Imaginarium designs

Well, here we are in October,
where has the time gone,
at the end of this month
on the 31st most children will be excited about
one event that takes place on the 31st.
Halloween night
Here in Australia we don't really
celebrate this event, but
it is slowing catching on with the local children.
My daughter loves to get dressed as a witch
putting on her hat  and black dress
and riding a little broom stick.
Knocking only on the a few local
houses that participate on this occasion
with "trick n treat".
The rule in our suburb and local
residences is -  tie a ribbon on your door or
gate on Halloween night,
then children are welcome to trick 'n' treat there.
No ribbon - no trick 'n' treating.
My daughter is so looking forward
to it this year, just 30 more sleeps.

So here is a
Happy Haunting Card - using the
G45 papers and Imaginarium Designs chipboards.

The chipboard witch is on a collection
of Halloween images from Imaginairum Designs
Halloween board  ISD0020 &
part of the spade picket fence IDB0004
also
and here is a layout of my daughter dressed as a
Halloween Witchy Boo.
Using G45 paper - Happy Haunting

The chipboard house, tree, witch on broomstick
and scary cat, cloud, alphas & twigs sticks
are all chipboards from Imaginarium Designs

So if you are looking for some Halloween
theme chipboards, check them at
Imaginarium Designs
They have the cutest Witch and scary cat.
I just painted these chipboards with black and white paint, a quick and easy way to add elements
to your page.
