Best wishes card - Cut and Create dies

Hi there everyone, Adriana here again with another tutorial using the Vintage layered Flowers Cut & Create dies.

This time I am playing with some yupo paper, alcohol inks and the brand new Stayz in Place ink pads- for the background of my card, teaming up with the Cut and Create dies using pigments inks instead of foiling them.

VINTAGE LAYERED FLOWERS CUT & CREATE DIES

                    HI everyone, its my turn here today on the Couture Creations blog.

Today, I am showcasing the Couture Creations Vintage Layered flowers Cut & Create dies. There are 4 sets in the collection, you can view then all HERE.

I am playing with two of them, I created a card and tag set.

With the Cut & Create Dies, remember that you can actually use them as a normal die. I have used them here in two ways, 1) with the GO PRESS AND FOIL MACHINE and 2) adding pigment ink on the the cut and create die and placing it in my die cutting machine (like a normal die) and presto you have a beautifully inked and cut embellishment. I have a video showcasing these two different ways of using the CUT AND CREATE DIES. I did foiled the centre piece of the flowers, butterfly and label.

This one above - I added Pigment ink to the daisy - CUT AND CREATE DIE

and foiled the centre piece with Vintage Rose Matte Heat activated foil.

With my tag - I actually foiled the daisy Cut and Create die with Peach Matte Heat activated foil and using the GOPRESS AND FOIL Machine - I just love the final effect of these.

Christmas time at home - Art Journalling with Adriana Bolzon

Hi everyone,  Adriana here today with my another art journal creative fun page.

It has been a really tough year for some of us, and I think this Christmas will be so important for many and for me it will be all about my family and spending Christmas time at home.

I created an art journal page - something bright and flowery (as I always like flowers!! )

Using the Layered Poinsettia stamp set from THE GIFT OF GIVING  to create the large beautiful blooms and using the Couture Creations Alcohol inks to colour in my art journal. I show you how I created my page in my you tube video , which is at the end of this blog post.

Step Up Christmas card with Adriana

 Hi everyone, Adriana here today with a very simple Centre Step up Christmas Card. Using The Gift of Giving Collection of papers and mini stamps to create the background of my card. With a touch of foiling with the GOPRESS and foil machine created with a Merry Christmas hot foil stamp from last years' collection.

For the background I stamped the Holly Silhouette Mini stamp CO727933 several times randomly around the edges of some card stock with Green Pigment ink.

Adding some fuzzing cut poinsettia's flowers from the the 12 x 12 paper  CO727901 and layering some of the petals on top of each other with foam dots.

 

Adding some Gold Gemstones in the centre of the flowers.

To create a centre step card just follow this template

Some of the lines are cut and some are scored or folded , it is very simple and easy to create.

Start off with a 6' X 12" card and score and fold as shown below..

Adding some die cut Holly Sprig mini die CO727918 with mirror board card stock, for an added touch of gold to finish off the card. Adding a foiled Merry Christmas with last year hot foil stamp = teamed up with the GO PRESS and Foil machine.

Merry Christmas Kookaburra - Art journal page

Hi everyone, Adriana here today and welcome to the Couture Creations Blog. I have been playing in my art journal again, it is very relaxing and so much fun creating and playing in my journal.

Since Christmas is only a few weeks away, I have created a Merry Christmas page with a touch of Australiana.  This could easily be created for a card instead of journal page.

Using the Couture Creations - Metallic Alloy Alcohol inks for the background, with some stamping elements from 

The GIFT OF GIVING & 

SWEEPING PLAINS collection.

I created the background on yupo paper 5x7

Using Cinnamon Metallic Alloy Alcohol Ink

and also Champagne Metallic Alcohol Ink

The Metallic Alcohol Inks give such a beautiful shimmery effect on the Yupo paper. I really love these collection of Alcohol Inks.

My tutorial video shows you how to create this page from start to finish.

I try to keep my video under 10 mins so that you get feel of how I created my project. Some sections are fast forwarded so that you don't get bored, BUT you can pause the Video at anytime by pausing or stopping the button on the bottom of the screen.

Once the alcohol inks are dry on the Yupo paper, I added some stamping elements

and also created my Kookaburra with the

SWEEPING PLAINS - Kookaburra Mini stamp and die set.

Also adding some poinsettias cut from the 12 x 12 paper
