A Summer's Day Canvas - Meg's Garden

Hello everyone, it's all ready Tuesday :)

Today I am sharing with you a canvas I created for my Meg's Garden DT assignment.

Creating canvases are very
popular at the moment
and I have seen many
turned around, reversed,
this enables you to create a shadow box effect.
I decided to give it a go creating one
with the new papers from Meg's Garden,
Ode to a Summer’s Day”.
Check out the paper collection HERE

I created this 3D Summer Bird House
using the Tim Holtz - Artful Dwellings diecut.

I fuzzy cut the apples and leaves from the
Apple Blossom paper and with the
inside part of this paper
I diecut the leaves.
I added the rich burgundy colour
of the velvet flowers also available
from Meg’s Garden.

The scene inside the canvas is from the
Summer’s Day Collage sheet.
I now have created my very own
Summer’s Day Garden.

I just love the cute little birdie and picket fence !

Beautiful work, Adrianna! I have not seen the canvas turned around to create a shadow box...genius. I admire all the loving details in your project: the birdhouse door, the little bird on the fence, the "grass", and the intricate fussy cutting. Stunning!
