This summer it has been quite warm and my garden seems to attract beautiful Monarch Butterflies, during January I saw one nearly everyday. So one day I had my camera ready and took a few photos of this beautiful creature. Don’t you think it is beautiful????
Now for my step-by-step tutorial instructions for creating this layout.
1.    Trim Brownie Core Color Core’dinations cardstock 28 cm x 28 cm, distress edges with distress tool and ink edges. Adhere in center of Black Cardstock.

2.   Cut 2 pieces of Cream & Sugar cardstock 17.5 cm x 12.5 cm, insert in embossing folder, place through manual embossing machine. Lightly sand raised embossing area with sandpaper and block, to reveal embossed design.

Distress & ink edges and place on top of each other, position on layout as shown.

Mount photo on Black Magic cardstock with a little border around photo, lightly sand and distress edges, mount this on Tea Dye cardstock also with a little border, distress and ink edges.

Stamp Kaisercraft clear stamp and Black stamp pad in centre of page, around embossed cardstock. Position mounted photo as shown.

4.   Cut 3 Couture Creation Moments in time flourish Die cut with Green cardstock, adhere to page, as shown.

5.   Apply white dabber paint to flowers, leave to dry, once dry, Spray Sunflower Sparkle Mist over flowers, leave to dry.

6.   Arrange & adhere flowers in a cluster with other smaller flowers, along side the photo. Glue butterflies as shown. Cut 3 Couture Creations Fresh Flower die cut, with Green Cardstock adhere on to page as shown.

7.   Add journaling on bottom right hand side of page.

8.   Paint alpha chipboards with brown, black & gold paint, leave to dry and then apply a coat of glossy accents, leave to dry. Glue alphas to page above photo.

So, this comes to the end of my Audtion Blog Post for Couture Creations, hope they like my Audition. Wish me luck !!!!  Fingers crossed !!!!  :)
Good Luck to everyone as well :)

Journalling reads
"Happiness is like a butterfly, the more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder......This butterfly visited my garden in Jan 2013"
