Delightful Blooms - Couture Creation

Hi there everyone, Adriana here today, sharing a special project
I created for the Couture Creations magazine "Creative Inspiration".
A delightful basket of Blooms!!!

Using an assortment of papers from the Couture Creations
Assorted Paper Pad
together with the new Couture Creation diecuts -

The 5 papers I have chosen to create this wonderful basket of blooms
 are from the
Other materials required are :-
A paper mache basket (or you can made your own,
with a small square box and some strong chipboard strip for the handle)
White German scrap border lace
Florist flower wire
Florist flower foam
Brads
Green cardstock for the leaves

C0723623 Sponge Dauber
C0721971 Crystallina Glitzin Glamour Glitter Glue
C0721998 Pearl Moonlight
C0723817 3D Glue spots

1. Cover the outside and inside of basket with
Sew Jo paper pad paper, ink edges with
Vintage Photo Ink pad and Sponge Dauber.

2. Cut 6 of Art Deco border diecut with
Sew Jo paper padadhere these
around the bottom on basket and
on top of the basket handle.

Placing Moonlight Couture Creations Pearls  along
the centre of the Art Deco border diecut , as shown.

3. Cut 4 strips of Sew Jo paper - 2.5 cm x 30 cm,
scrunch them with your hands, fold them out gently, then
create little pleats with all the strips of paper.
Place Couture Creations doubled sided Tape on the back of
pleated paper, this will hold them together.

4. Adhere the completed pleats with doubled sided tape
and glue on the White German scrap lace border,
all on the bottom top edge of
each side of the basket.

5. TO CREATE THE FLOWERS
( you will need to create at least 8 to 9 flowers for this basket )
I will show you all how to create just ONE flower.
Repeat this process for each individual flower.
Cut 4 assorted size diecuts from the Nesting dies Sunflower

Cut with scissors, little slits along each flower die cut, as shown.

Pierce the centre of each flower die cut, place brad in centre of flower.
Spritz your flat flower with a little clean water.

Gently scrunch each flower die cut towards the centre.

Dry your flower petals with heat gun.

Secure florist wire to the back of each flower with the brad tongs
and tape.

Cut 1 Lucky Tree  diecut with Green cardstock and
adhere with glue, to the back of the flower.

(HINT: Create different size flowers, this looks more appealing)

Place a florist foam inside the basket and
pierce your completed flowers into the foam,
arranging them around the basket.

6. Cut 2 Beautiful Butterfly diecut and adhere to a florist wire.
Apply Crystallina Glitzin Glamour Glitter Glue to the butterfly wings.
Leave to dry, place in florist foam inside the basket

Add ribbon bows on the side of basket
