Mixed Media Canvas - Family

Hi everyone, very cold here in Adelaide
at the moment, but these days are great
 for creating :)

I was looking back at a few projects that I have created so many years ago, and I am so blessed to be able to create and hopefully inspire others with my projects, that's why I started my blog.
I post my projects on my blog, to hopefully inspire
others to create and find their artistic flair.
To inform you of the latest papers etc, and inform
you all of what is available at your local
scrapbooking store, so that you too can have a go.
It's so much fun.

It's been over 3 years, since I started this blog and many things have happened to me because of this wonderful world of blogging. The Papercraft industry is one of which I am very passionate about, I enjoy creating and making things.

I have been papercrafting, designing for myself and for others for almost 11 years now.
In this time I have been very lucky to be on some amazing Design Teams, past and present. I have also been very lucky to be have been published in many scrapbooking magazines, and I would have to say a very big Thankyou to everyone who has made this happen and to those who believed in me.

Also a big thankyou to everyone who takes the time to read and comment on my blog.
We all have busy lives and I try to comment where ever I can, but time does get the better of me, so I understand too, it's hard some days.

So, looking back at some of my projects
I just want to show you all one that is very
dear to me. I created this project this back in 2008,
(yes a very long time ago), it's a mixed media, collage canvas
which I framed inside a frame to
keep the dust off.
It is my first attempt at media media with
paints and paper. Kelly Rae Roberts inspired me with her Art form of collage and papercrafting.
And so, it has inspired me to create
some more of these .....very soon I will show
some more. Sorry the photos are not that great.

I created this canvas back in 2008 and
entered it in the
Royal Adelaide Show, it won 3rd Prize in the
"Off the Page" Scrapbooking section.

Papercrafting and scrapbooking has changed so much
since when I started many years ago, but one thing
stays the same.....
Make things that makes you happy and
 always be true to yourself.
Creating and preserving memories of our past and present lives, and creating things that you want to give as gifts for that someone special.

"Create from the Heart".

well that's all from me today! On Monday, I will have exciting some news about a
BLOG HOP with Couture Creations and
 Core'dinations Cardstock.

Until Monday, Stay warm people
it's looks like it's going to be a very
cold winter this year!

Thanks for looking
Cheers Adriana XX :)

It's amazing how our favourite layouts are not always the newest ones but the ones that just mean something special to us. This canvas is gorgeous!

How tremendously, timelessly beautiful. I really like the gentle palette, bevy of butterflies and endlessly special antique photo you used here. Marvelous work, sweet gal.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend,
