Family Hertiage

I created this mixing media canvas and framed behind a frame (so the dust doesn't get in). This creation is about my Grandmother and her mother, father and sister. My grandmother was about 11 years old in this picture. I just love the photo, so I decided to do a mixed media canvas. Take a look......

Hope you have a great day. Thanks for looking. love *Adriana*.

Art Journals

I LOVE Journals. I have a few here on my craft desk, sometimes i look back on them for inspiration. Sometimes i write or draw in them. Being creative everyday, ideas and little whispers are all here in my journals, some are private, some are for everyone to look at or admire. Currently i am trying to create one with paper, fabric and anything i love. If you are to embark on a creative journey, now is the time to start one. It can be just pieces of card like a ATC size, with your creative touch and you can put them in a book. I created this larger than an ATC card, it was actually on a large scale playing card. It sits on top of my bookcase.

I love Angels and A is for angels - adriana - admire. thanks for looking. Adriana *X*

Special Memories

I have been asked by a friend to make a Special Book for keeping Photos, bits and pieces of her lovely Grandmother. She was very special to her and wanted to give something to her mother, which will be past on to generations to come. Her Nan was 86 years old. She loved to sew, make things with her hands. She did china painting, and her last love of craft was making china dolls.
Here is photo of the cover of the book.

Whether you paint, sew, draw or knit. Whether you sell you craft, give away as gifts or keep for someone special to have one day, every piece you create is a piece of yourself, created from the heart. I found this quote

"If I create from the heart, nearly everything works; if from the head almost nothing."

This is so true every piece of a scrapbooking layout or card or canvas I make comes from my heart. I love making, creating and it is a part of your creative journey. I also made her this sympathy card from my heart.

Thanks for looking. Love Adriana *X*
