Adventure Layout - Rambling Rose

Hi there everyone, thanks so much for stopping by here today with a double layout using the new release
Ultimate Crafts - Artdeco Creations "Rambling Rose"
This new collection was launched at Creative Inspiration Live 2017, a couple of weeks ago, and was a huge hit with the attendees and retailers.

The Ultimate Crafts "Rambling Rose"
has been released to the stores just a few days ago
and it is proving to be very popular collection.

This paper collection was designed by the talented Australian
designer "Sue Smyth"

The paper pads, dies and all the beautiful embellishments that go with the range are all available now from your local scrapbooking store.

So today, I created a double layout using this new release collection.

"Adventure" layout with "Rambling Rose".

My adventure and travels of Venice continues…. I do love this place, this place is very close to my heart.

A closer look of the left-hand side of double layout

and the Right-hand side of double layout

Using the paper from the ULT157701 Ultimate Crafts Rambling Rose 12x12 paper pad , there are two of these pages in the paper pad and I used both of them. I cut the paper in half as shown below.

I then placed each of the bottom section together of the two pages, as shown below, back to back.
It is not quite a mirror image but the effect makes it look like it. :)

I then cut the paper straight down, a little slightly off centre, as shown below.

I then placed both of the sides on the edges of White Card-stock, as below.

Using the ULT157740 Ultimate Crafts Rambling Rose Script stamp set and a light grey stamping ink pad, I stamped the page randomly around the centre and edges of my double page layout. Using the ULT1577742 Ultimate Crafts Rambling Rose Happiness stamp Set, I stamped with Lavender and Light Grey ink pads the two or flowers or weeds from the same stamp set around the edges of both pages.

I then cut sections of the Wooden Panel Paper from the ULT157701 Ultimate Crafts Rambling Rose paper pad, into small and long sections and randomly glued them onto the page as shown. Using a some black watercolour pencil, water brush and water to enhance the edges - to create some shadows around the panels.

Using the C0725047 Couture Creations Enchanted Tea Party Decorative Die Bouquet to create some light and dark green foliage for the C0724293 Couture Creations Bulk Tie Dyed Jewelled Florettes which I sprayed some lavender spray on the flowers.

I matted my three photographs with black card stock and arranged them on both pages, as shown. Adding a ULT157731 Ultimate Crafts Rambling Rose Decorative Die Rambling Flourish at the end of each cluster of flowers and foliage.

I have been inspired by the South African scrapbooking ladies and in particular the talented Cariena Basson, who always do double layouts in their classes and just in general, all the time. I thought I would give it a try with this wonderful collection - isn't it great that we all inspire each other to try different things and always trying to push our boundaries.
Thanks to Cariena  for your inspiration with double layouts.

Dragonfly Card - L'aquarelle collection

#artdecocreations   #couturecreationsaus    #ultimatecrafts

Hi there everyone, thanks for stopping, today I am on the Artdeco Creations, Couture Creations and Ultimate Crafts blog sharing a card
created using the papers, dies and cool embellishments from the new Ultimate Crafts collection called  L'Aquarelle teamed up with Couture Creations Embossing powders and products.

I love the effect of embossing powders, especially the awesome range that Couture Creations have in available.
Did you know that there are over 52 colours and mixes in the range.

I have used the following embossing powders on my card
Couture Creations, Gold Chunky Crystals Embossing Powders C0724966
Couture Creations Cooper Chunky Crystals Embossing powder C0724968
Couture Creations Turquoise Sparkles Embossing powder C0724993

Teamed up with the new release
Ultimate Crafts L'aquarelle Papers and dies, in particularly the
ULT157766 Ultimate Crafts L'Aquarelle, Filigree Brass Ornaments

Here is my Dragonfly card.

I love dragonflies and I wanted it to have a 3D look to it and
found this frame which does suit this card perfectly, ready for display.
Makes a nice gift.

Here is how I created this card,
 I placed the
through my Go Cut & Emboss machine.
Because this die is very intricate using the
C0723818 Couture Creations Quick Release paper in between the card stock and die will ensure that you get a perfectly die cut ready to create with.

The die is perfect for C6 size card stock.
I then cut some of the
ULT157761 Ultimate Crafts L'Aquarelle, 12x12 Paper Pad paper, I used some of the purple & blue watercolour paper for the background.

I then Dabbed my embossing ink pad all over the
and sprinkled the
Couture Creations, Gold Chunky Crystals Embossing Powders C0724966
over the decorative die.

I heated this with a heat gun and the results are amazing.
I love the feel, texture and colour on the finished embossed die cut.

I also cut a smaller piece and embossed the edges - this will go in the centre of the decorative die.

Placing foam tape under this smaller rectangle - I positioned it in the middle of the ULT157787 Ultimate Crafts L'Aquarelle, Decorative Die, Antiquity Frame.

ULT157785 Ultimate Crafts L'Aquarelle, Decorative Die, Dragonfly

I cut two of each wing and one body of the dragonfly with black card stock and my Go Cut & Emboss machine.

Using the
Couture Creations Cooper Chunky Crystals Embossing powder C0724968
Couture Creations Turquoise Super Sparkles embossing powder C0724993
and heat gun over the body and wings of dragonfly die.

Attaching the wings with Couture Creations 3D Mounting clear dots, to raise the wings from the middle.

I also attached some
a metal flower from the

The Bridge of Sighs - Layout

Hi there everyone!!!! is my turn today on the Artdeco Creations - Couture Creations Blog, sharing a layout that I have created using the
papers & dies and also teamed up with the new release
"L'Aquarelle" collection.
I do love this collection, the lovely watercolour papers with tones of fresh soft colours, flowers and little birds, a great for paper collection for scrapbooking or card making and a new favourite collection of mine too!!

Here is my layout
"DISCOVER" layout by Adriana Bolzon

The took this photo in beautiful Venice, Italy. This bridge is made of white limestone and has little windows with stone bars and it is enclosed on the top and around, almost like a tunnel. It passes over the Rio di Palazzo and connects to the interrogation rooms or prison rooms in the Doge's Palace.
It was built in 1600 and is called "The Bridge of Sighs".

I actually walked inside this bridge and looked through those tiny stone windows. We did a tour of the Doge's Palace and I have more photos at the end of my blog post - if you are interested.

It is called the "Bridge of Sighs" as it was the last view of Venice that prisoners saw before their imprisonment in their cells in the Palace or their last view of Venice before they were executed, many hundred of years ago.

That's just a little bit about the history of this bridge but now for my tutorial on how I put it all together.

These are the products I used from the
Enchanted Tea party collection
Couture Creations Enchanted Tea Party - Bouquet Die C0725047
Couture Creations Enchanted Tea Party - Paper pad 12x12 C0725023

I stamped around the edges of my layout with the
Ultimate Crafts "L'Aquarelle" stampset ULT157796 with vintage ink pad and dark brown ink pad.
I also stamped some of the flower blooms with the
Ultimate Crafts "L'Aquarelle" stampset ULT157796 onto the
Ultimate Crafts "L'Aquarelle" paper pad ULT157761, then cut them out.

Using the
Couture Creations Chunky Mossed Bronze Embossing powder CO725008
together with the new release
Ultimate Crafts L'Aquarelle" ULT157802 Rolling Mesh stencil, I created the chunky golden texture to the layout. The pattern is very similar to the small stone windows on the Bridge - I have more photos at the end of this blog post.

I also used an Anna Griffin Ironwork stencil C0725017 with vintage ink pad along the bottom of the the layout.

Using the Couture Creations Enchanted Tea Party - Bouquet Die C0725047 for the leaves of the flowers, I cut this with Green card stock and place them underneath each cluster of flowers.

I added tags from
Couture Creations Enchanted Tea Party - Paper pad 12x12 - C0725023.
I love the phrase "There is a place, like no place on earth, a land full of enchantment, wonder and Mystery".

Underneath and on top of my doubled matted photo is an flourish lattice mould -
 I created this with
Anna Griffin Embossing Paste CO724870 and plastic Moulds, I spread the embossing paste over the mould with a spatula.

I let it dry in the moulds overnight and then after when it was all dry, I gently peeled them off out of the moulds, don't they look great. :)

I then painted them with black, white and gold paint and adhered them to the layout with a glue pen.

Around the centre in each flower, I added some
