Spring Paisley - Meg's Garden

Hello there everyone, today I have a
layout using the new papers from
Meg's Garden " Spring Paisley" and
what no better way than showing
these lovely papers by doing a Spring layout.
The photo of a vase of flowers
is from a lovely card a friend sent to me,
I decided to recycle it and use here for my layout.

I Love Spring
The papers are from the newest collection
"Spring Paisley" available from Meg's Garden.

Green Paisley Stripe P6314

The clusters of flowers on my layout are
created using a flower punch.

All these wonderful papers are available from
Meg's garden website HERE

CSI#33 Sydney

Another case file at CSI # 33.

I loved this place and hope
to see it again very soon.

  • Maritime Red
  • Nautical Gray
  • Salty Sand
  • Beacon Blue
  • Deep Blue Sea
  • wood/woodgrain
  • liquid medium
  • clouds
  • something sand-like (e.g., glitter, sand, embossing powder, etc.)
  • something that shines (inspired by the light in a lighthouse)
  • Create shadows
  • white background
  • bricks
  • something transparent
  • triangles
  • metal
  • nautical elements
  • Document a landmark you've visited.
  • Write three facts (inspired by the red planks)
  • Use journaling strips (inspired by the planks)
  • Go to the Lighthouse Young Writers Online blog to be inspired, and see where it leads you.
  • Inspiration Words: light, safe, guide-- use these as inspiration for your journaling, not just as a title
Sydney Harbour Bridge

I have chosen
Liquid medium - paint and texture paste on the clouds
Clouds which have been textured pasted and glitter sprinkled on top
Triangles - banner
Metal elements -studs and charms
 and nautical elements.

Document landmark - Sydney Harbour Bridge and
the journalling done in strips.
