"Into the Wild" & Some exciting times with Kaisercraft

Hi everyone…thanks so much for stopping by today.
This month's collection of papers at Kaisercraft are all very different.
I have created for my Kaisercraft design team projects 2 layouts,
with the paper collection called, "Into the Wild".

As the name suggests, this collection of papers are all about
wild things, wild animals, zoos and a very masculine and earthy theme to the papers. Many fun animal prints, which I love as well.

Go to the KAISER CRAFT BLOG  for more inspirational ideas from
the rest of the awesome Design Team.

I created 2 layouts,
We were very lucky to go to Taronga Zoo in Sydney last year.
This zoo is so amazing, you have to travel by ferry across the bay.
As it is across the other side of the city, so you will see the Sydney city landscape in the distance.

Great memories and amazing animals at this zoo.
The sticker sheet that you can purchase with this collection, has cool sentences, like, "we're all going to the Zoo" etc.
The papers have great animal prints.

My Second layout, "DISCOVER", photo taken on our recent
Zoo trip in Adelaide
to see the two Pandas. This one is always eating, he was so cute.
I guess is he my fav animal at the Zoo.

Until next time, thanks for looking and for your lovely comments.

"Explore" layout - Couture Creations

Hello there everyone, sharing a page I created for Couture Creations.

Today I am sharing a layout using some of the new
release Couture Creations products.

I created a layout, titled "Explore" using the latest paper collection called
Hearts Ease paper collection
with this paper pad collection comes in two sizes 12x12 and 6x6
there are stickers, stamp sets and Ephemera Pack of collectables.

The photo was taken recently while our holiday in Venice,
on a bridge overlooking the Grand Canal. Such a beautiful place.

I used the new release dies collection
Couture Creations - KALINI Intricutz dies
with the Hearts Ease paper collection, Ephemera  & Stamps.

Here is my step-by-step how I created this layout.

I firstly distressed and inked the edges with a Rustic ink pad and sponge dauber
around the sheet of paper CO724182 from the Hearts Ease paper collection
Then I cut  Hearts Ease paper collection  C0724181 paper in half,
distressing the top of paper and inking the edges. Leaving the bottom row of Pansies
on the bottom of the page, I also inked the edges a little with Rustic Ink pad.
I then cut a strip of C0724185 Heart Ease paper about 6cm wide,
distressed and inked the top edge
and placed it slightly under the middle of page, as shown below.

I then mounted my 17cm x 10 cm photo on cream card stock,
adhering it to the centre of page, as shown below.

The flowers dies I used for my layout
are from the Couture Creations - KALINI Intricutz dies

C0724251 KALINI Falling Blossoms die

To create the flowers with this die, I love
layers and I used C0723817 3D Glue spots
in between each petal flower (4 different sized flowers for each flower)

I cut about 12 of the  C0724256 KALINI Bird on a Maple Branch
with green Heart Ease paper C0724177,

I trimmed off the little bird at the top
and glue the leaves around the flowers and photo,
as shown on my layout.

Apply Rustic and Berry ink to Imaginarium Designs chipboard flourish
and adhere to bottom on page also
adhere with 3D Glue spots the clock face from the
Hearts Ease paper collection - Ephemera collectables.
Also, adhere a flourish arrow from the Ephemera collectables,
as shown below.
Glue down a triple bow of twine or string, adhere under flowers, as shown.

Using the Hearts Ease paper collection Set of stamps,
There are 3 different set of stamps.
I used the C072400 Hearts Ease Borders and Butterflies stamps &
C072401 Hearts Ease Time goes on stamps

I stamped with the stamps and ink pad - the small butterfly scattered around my layout, I stamped also the words "Explore"& "dream" and also stamped a flourish on the top edge of papers, as shown below. The three hearts from the  Hearts Ease paper collection Ephemera collectables are glued down with 3D glue spots.

Adding touches of Couture Creations Vintage Gold Gemstones around
my page and flowers.

Cut a C0724256 KALINI "life is beautiful" title die cut and cream card stock

adhere with glue and place on top right hand side of photo.

Hope you like my project for today
"Explore, Life is beautiful"  :)

Couture Creations Cards

Hello there everyone,
Thanks for stopping by today.

Today, I am sharing 2 cards that I have created using some of the new
release Couture Creation products.
These are just some very simple and quick
cards to make for any occasion.

I created my cards, from the latest paper collection called
Hearts Ease paper collection and the
Couture Creations - KALINI Intricutz dies
using the same technique background for each card

"FOR YOU" CARD

and here is another card with the same background but
a different centre design.

"THINKING OF YOU" CARD

Here is my step-by-step on how I created the background for these cards,
…..its quiet easy to do :)

I firstly chosen a very plain almost cream piece of
paper from the 6x6 paper pad from the Hearts Ease paper collection
Trim the paper to the exact size of the
Elegant Card die cut - Vierge Square C07724097

Elegant Card die cut - Vierge Square C07724097

Holding the diecut flat on the piece of paper,
apply Rustic Ink colour with a sponge dabber,
dab some colour ink in the centre of die cut as well.

The Diecut creates a stencil outline on the paper.
Mount this paper on a square folded card stock.

a  C0724253 Tall Flower Basket  cut basket with brown card stock.

Adhere the basket in the centre of card with C0723817 3D Glue spots

The flowers dies for the basket
are from the Couture Creations - KALINI Intricutz dies
C0724254 Tall Basket Flowers

Cut 2 sets of  flowers with green card stock.
Adhere them to the card as shown, with the turbo glue pen.

C0724254 Tall Basket Flowers
Cut 1 set of flowers each with Red and Cream card stock.
Cut the flowers off each die cut, as shown

glue these cut flowers
on the card over the Green flowers, as shown.

Add a touch of sparkle to the flowers and leaves, apply some
Glitzin Glamour Glitter Glue Red C0721979
Glitzin Glamour Glitter Glue Green C0721978

Add a word sentiment and chipboard butterflies
as shown below.

Now for the second card,

Create a background exactly as the previous card,
cut with white cardstock a
Couture Creations - KALINI Intricutz dies
C0724244 Swinging on a Tree

and also Couture Creations - KALINI Intricutz dies
C0724255 Picket Fence

Cut and adhere these die cuts on the card as shown below with
C0723817 3D Glue spots

Stamp the sentiment "For You" from the
on to white card stock
and Trim with a fish tale and ink edges.
Adhere onto card with C0723817 3D Glue spots
