I created a page of My Mother in law on her wedding day - My husband's father had lived and worked in Australia for many years. After many years of writing to each other she travelled 6 weeks on a boat from Italy to Australia, then to be married one week after arriving. She left her family behind in Italy to follow her heart and dreams in Australia. A new life in a new home and country.

LOOK/SEE - BITW

Over at "Bird is the word" - new challenge words are LOOK / SEE

You can use both or just one of the words.

I found this great phrase that had both these words.

"LOOK carefully to SEE for in the sparkling eyes of a 

little boy is where a pure Heart will be."

Using the amazing chipboards from "Imaginarium Designs".

Here is my layout I created.

Love You

Imaginarium Chippies used is - 
Frame, 
Butterflies and

Words and Alphas.

The frame is inked with distress vintage inks and then

cinnamon glitter stickles placed on it.

The butterfly at the bottom has glitter on it

and the Alphas have been inked

then glossy accents put on top of them.

There are so many ways you can use chipboards to

enhance your layout.

Green Tara Guest Designer

I am so excited to be a Guest Designer for Green Tara for this month. Green Tara  have so many gorgeous flowers, 

ribbons and embellishments.

I have created two projects with my first package. 

In this package the colour  theme was Burgundy and Gold.

One of my favourite  colour  combinations.

The gorgeous Fabric Poppies and Paper Gardenias will enhance any project, whether vintage,  shappy chic or comtempary style.  I  have created a layout “Adore” and also a tag with the left over of trims and flowers.

Manor house flowers are the sponsors this month.

Unfortunately I don't have any Manor house flowers so

I made my flowers and added some from my stash.

The selection of colours in this week challenge are not 

normally the colours I would use, so this was a big challenge for me.

Totally love the sketch, here is my interpretation of it.

The photos are of my DD when she was nearly 3 years old.

She loved going to this park where there was this big red truck in the playground, she would pretend to be the truck driver. She loved it. She was

a very busy bee, going up and down the truck, turn the driving wheel, 

up and down again. 

Prima new range of mini stamps, has the cutest little bee stamp. 

I had to use it on this layout.

WWI - BALLOON FLIGHT

This month at White with 1 - Theme is

White + Grey + Tags/Tabs 

Here is my layout called  "Balloon Flight of Happiness"

Just a bit of silly fun, found this gorgeous image of a vintage girl in a hot air balloon, taking a flight of happiness, little tags in flight with words that make me happy.

Hope that this puts a smile on your face, even though the whole page 
is grey and miserable.
