Australian Scrapbooking Ideas Issue 23 - Christmas ideas

Hi everyone, 

Today I am sharing another two layouts which are

featured in the magazine

"Australian Scrapbooking Ideas" Issue 23

In this latest magazine there are

some FREE "Ruby Rock it" Christmas papers.

I had to create two pages using these

free Christmas papers to give readers

ideas on how to create with them.

Now the papers are lovely, bright with traditional

christmas colours

red, green and white, 
which are sometimes really hard for me  
to create with, as I really love 
more vintage papers!

(so this was a bit of a challenge for me)

I fussy cut some of the poinsettias and layered
them with foam tape to give them a bit more
dimension and layers to the page. 

The next page
is of my sister and her family, they
have a family photo taken with Santa
every year for their Christmas card
that they send to everyone each year.
Great idea!!!

Australian Scrapbooking Ideas Issue 23 - Christmas Morning

Hi everyone, 

Today I am sharing a layout which is

featured in the latest magazine

"Australian Scrapbooking Ideas" Issue 23

This is Christmas layout of my daughter, Jess.

Last Christmas she received from

Santa a "Furby", they are a

cute little purple fur ball that purrs like a kitten

and giggles when tickled under her chin.

But if you don't play with Furby,

it gets a little annoyed, and sometimes will get angry.

My daughter always tries to play with it

so it doesn't get angry!!!!

She loves her Furby....

The papers are from Kaisercraft "Holly Bright".

Guest Teaching

Vintage Heirloom Altered shoes

Hi everyone, today I have my  

Vintage altered shoes to share with you all.

My commissioned assignment in 

"Australian Scrapbooking Ideas" Issue 21 

I had to alter 3 different types of shoes.

I did a Steampunk shoe and a Shabby Chic shoe and

I also created a Vintage pair of children's

satin shoes in a box.

I altered this pair of shoes

to make them look very old.

Placed them in a framed box, lots of vintage satin lace, pearls and velvet shabby flowers.

The new issue of 

"Australian Scrapbooking Ideas Magazine"

Issue 23

will be out next week!!!

It is jam packed with inspirational 

Christmas projects and ideas.

There is also a

great free paper pack from "Ruby Rock-it" 

that is

included in the magazine.

Enjoy the little things Card - Couture Creations

Hello there everyone, 

is it my turn again today 

at Couture Creations . 

Today I have created a card, adding some diecuts from the

new Sophia Premium Intricutz Die collection

The die I used in this layout is called

C0723486  PIPPA

Here is my card

I cut 3 of the Pippa diecut with three different papers and 

placed them on top of each other, slightly over to the side of each one. 

This creates a look of flowers in a field, and

diecut of more Butterflies were added.

HANDY TIP: always place sticky Ejection Foam sheet on these diecuts before

you use them with your papers. The papers just pop off the die cuts when

you have placed some Stick-on ejection foam sheets on them, and then place them

through your diecut machine.
