Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by, it's my turn today on the Kaisercraft blog, sharing some of my projects created with this month's new paper collections and a little tutorial at the end of this post, of a mini shadow box created with the Flourish Packaging and wooden embellishments from "SEA LIFE" FL574, but first for my creations with this month's paper collection called "OLD MAC". Like the name suggest and from the old nursery rhyme "Old MacDonald had a farm" these papers are perfect for all your country farm or countryside memories.

So here now, is my special project with a tutorial to create your very own mini Shadow box -
using the packaging case along with some of the little flourishes from the
Flourish Pack FL574 Sea Life.
These flourishes are so fabulous for adding to your projects, and when you have only a few left of these flourishes, why not use the packaging and create another project for decor display or to give away to someone special.
Here is the finished Mini-Shadow Box…
Materials required:
Kaisercraft FL574 Flourish pack Sea Life
Inkpads - IP729 Tangello, IP723 Vintage, IP719 Black, IP727 Lagoon,
IP726 Saffron
Kaisercraft Mists: KM113 Coffee, KM105 Turqouise, KM116 Aqua, KM103 Yellow.
Sticker sheet SS307 Costal Escape.
Other: Rock Salt, Muslin, glue, white gesso.
Paint the whole package box with white gesso, and leave to dry.
Spritz Kaiser Mist KM105 Turquiose inside each compartment of the box and while still wet add some Rock Salt, this will soak up all the colour from the mists.
Leave to complete dry and once it is dry, you will notice a great effect of
dipples of colour. I quite like this effect.
Ink the embellishments from the Sea Life Flourish pack FL574, with
Kaisercraft Inkpads.
Some new release colours of Kaiser Mists have just been released last month. I am totally in love with the colour - KM113 Coffee and KM116 Aqua.
Randomly spray the Kaiser Mists on pieces of muslin. Leave to dry.
Cut and tear the coloured muslim and glue around the edges and adhere inside the small compartments. Adhere some sentiments stickers and coloured flourishes, as shown.
Add some real small shells on the bottom of shadow box.
