So here I created a garden scene.  Many years ago I did quilting and sewing

as one of my hobbies, I have a thing for Toile & Ticking,  just love it.

I had a Toile scene from my stash of many boxes of quarters and cottons. 

I used Gesso to stick the piece of material on the card stock and

worked the beautiful papers around the scene. Gesso on some fence chipboard.

I also had time to create this Oversized tag with this palette, I just realised I added a touch of pink. OOPS!

This is my layout of my DD at her birthday party many years ago,

We had a face painter come in and DD wanted to be a Butterfly,

The face painter did an awesome butterfly on her face, she really did look

like a beautiful butterfly.

I guess as a mother you always want the best for your children,  

I promise that I will be there for her good times and bad,

I promise to her that she has laughter and joy in her life, 

and she has our never ending love always.

CSI#2 - 5 colours in palette, choose 2 evidence and one testimony:

I love yellow and purple together, they look fantastic. I have selected -  
flowers (Funtoolas Lilac flowers and an architectural element - 
"Imaginarium Designs" Fence 
I made it look like stone-like appearance to it.

My testimony - that I promise my DD Love, Laughter and Joy.

I made a Layout and an oversized Tag.

I love making really large tags , they look great on top of a presents.

 I usually cover my present with brown paper, very plain,

then tie a tag I made on to the present.

It works as a card too.

Everyone adores them.

Case File no 1

So I decided to join in the fun with CSI, I had these photos

of my DD as a clown, I wanted to create a funny page.

The tag I made says,

"I wonder what it would be like to be a clown???

Big Nose, Green hair, Baggy clothes, Spinning Bow Tie,

Making us laugh!!!!!!

I used bits and pieces of my paper stash, its

so good to use them up my paper stash doing these challenges.

I had so much fun creating this page.

I created a Circus Tent.

The Big Circus Tent was the idea especially being a clown.

I used G45 papers, Kaisercraft papers, Kraft, and Imaginarium Designs chipboards.

Palette #92 - "Articles de Paris papers are featured in tones of

Antique Blue, Eggplant, Custard Cream & Rustic Rose.

The flowers were originally pink and white, I dyed, inked and 

glimmer misted them to fit in this weeks' palette colours.

White with One - DT Challenge JAN 2012

White with One challenge this month is to use

WHITE + LIME GREEN + BUTTONS

I went through all my stash of boxes and found all these cute buttons
that were green & lime green.

I made this layout of DD (again) (the light in my/our life)
This really was a challenge for me as Green is not usually a colour
I would use. But is was so much fun.
This is what I created. I even made those big silky flowers myself.
I think they are great, what a great idea - use some of scrap stash and make things
like flowers etc.

I have some exciting news I would like to share with you all

I made this for the Kaisercraft store here in Adelaide
Just a simple frame with the Butterflies.

Using the "Bonjour" Collection from Kaisercraft.
MDF 10" Frame which I painted White.

I started my blog in the beginning in 2011, a place to share 

my creative passion for Papercrafts.

I had a few dreams and ideas for 2011,  some of which have come true.

My wish for 2012 is for a safe, healthy and happy year for everyone.

And I wish that all your DREAMS do come true for 2012.
