The new DT for Meg's Garden has been announced. I am so excited and thrilled to be able to stay for another 6 months.  I love being on this DT with Meg. (Owner of Meg's Garden). OUAS - Feb 2012

I have been trying to get time to play along with Nadia's gorgeous sketches

for such a long time, but never have the time.. but this weekend I had time to create a page using her sketch and journalling ideas for the theme of the page.

The Theme is scrap a holiday event or place you wish to go for holiday.

I dream that one day I will be in Paris,

Paris is far more than a city.

It is an irresistible, enthralling source of inspiration

and fascination.  It is a magical, whimsical and memorable city.

One day I will be in Paris, but for now I can only scrap other peoples'

images of this beautiful city.

The image is from a vintage postcard.

Hi everyone

I had another photo of my nephew, which I wanted to scrap

so I used this opportunity to scrap with these colours.

Magical Fairy Garden - TCR#98

Hi everyone, just a quick post, over at "The Color Room"

the next palette colours have been posted they are

Lovely Lilac, Sage Green, Very Violet and Darkest Navy.

Gorgeous colours, love these combinations of colours. 
Here is the sketch if you want to follow it but not necessary.

Here is my layout of my DD dressed in her favourite Princess Fairy custom.
I used an "Imaginarium Designs" butterfly chipboard for her wings.

I wanted to do a boy page for such a long time, 

something different from flowers and bling.

Sometimes I scrapped some pictures of my nephew 

this one is when he was three years old.

When I do scrap him I give these pages to my sister, 
she is not the least bit interested in scrapbooking. 

She has now a collection of pages which I have 

created of her beautiful boy.  

By the way, he loves them too and is very proud 

he is featured on a page which I then put on my blog. 

I think he loves his special Aunty. (ME)

You might say what is the negative, well, 

once you have used the chipboards of the clouds

on a project, keep the outside area of the chipboard

and used it as a stencil with texture paste.

You achieve a great texured, 3D embellishment on your project 

and this is 

inspired by Louise Nelson, she has some great techiniques on using

 the negatives of chipboards on her projects.

Other material used:

Tim Holtz card stock, stamps, distressing inks, paint,

metal embellishments, martha stewart heart punch.

gloss accents.

Imaginarium Designs - DT Project Feb 2012

It is now my turn at "Imaginarium Designs" Blog to show 
my Design Team projects for this month.

February is the month of LOVE, so I decided to 
create 2 projects around this theme.

My 1st project is a Mini-book & stand.

It's called,

"To my Valentine - together, forever, LOVE"

This is an altered art project which I have enjoyed making.

It is a chipboard stand with a matching mini book cover,

Lots of techniques -  with distressing, embossing and stamping.

My dream is to visit PARIS one day, I want to experience
this beautiful city and experience this view from my hotel window.
OHH....one day !!!! my dream will come true........but for now
I can only look at this page I have created.

Painted the chipboard with gesso, then applied texture paste
to give a rustic texture to the chipboard,
inked the edges with chalk inks.
The alphas are inked with Bamboo & Brown chalk inks
and glossy accents on top.

My DT Projects for this month were so much fun to create.

The theme was anything "Victorian" or "Vintage".

I decided that since February is the month of LOVE,

with Valentine's Day on the 14th,

I based my projects on this and call them

"Vintage Valentine".

I created a Valentine Frame, a Mini Vintage Valentine Book &

a Vintage Valentine Tag.

I just love these colours, so vintage & so beautiful.

I followed the sketch a bit  and created a Paris theme.

Kaisercraft projects

Just a quick post to mark the 1st anniversary of my blog. WOW. Time flies.

12 months ago I decided to create my blog,

1. - it is a great way to show and tell your projects to everyone around the world.

2. - it is a great way to meet creative and talented.

Thankyou to all my loyal followers and for joining my blog.

Life would not be the same without this electronic form of communication.
