OUAS - Feb 2012

I have been trying to get time to play along with Nadia's gorgeous sketches
for such a long time, but never have the time.. but this weekend I had time to create a page using her sketch and journalling ideas for the theme of the page.
The Theme is scrap a holiday event or place you wish to go for holiday.

I dream that one day I will be in Paris,
Paris is far more than a city.
It is an irresistible, enthralling source of inspiration
and fascination.  It is a magical, whimsical and memorable city.

One day I will be in Paris, but for now I can only scrap other peoples'
images of this beautiful city.
The image is from a vintage postcard.
Here is the sketch from "Once Upon a Sketch"
check out the OUAS DT creations here

Here is my take on the sketch

PARIS - My dream is that one day I will be in Paris.
Paris is far more than a city.
It is an irresistible, enthralling source of inspiration and fascination
It is a magical, whimsical and memorable city.

Alphas are "Imaginarium Designs" Capital letters

PS note added on the 4th March:
I just found out this layout was featured on "once upon a Sketch"

Have a great day..........................Cheers Adriana XXXX

oh so dramatic Adriana! I love it! The vintage feel of each and every one of those flowers really adds to the page; and don't think for a moment that those small accents go unnoticed- the camera the travel bag and the ship, cute! The addition of black really makes the colors pop, and the overall vintage shabbiness is glorious!

Wow, this is another gorgeous layout. I would never put all those colours against a kraft-coloured background, but you have and it looks fabulous! I LOVE the black .. a beautiful contrast with the pinks and green!
