Moments in Time

Hi everyone, where has this month gone..... 

already its the end of September.....

Just posting a very quick post for today.

Today, it would have been my mother's & father's

50th year Wedding Anniversary.

But unfortuately, there is not going

to be any celebration for this occassion.

As I mentioned, it would have been.

My father passed away some 36 years ago.

So today, is a bit a sad day but a day to 

remember him as well.

So I have created this layout of my

mother and father on their Wedding Day

50 years ago, today.

Moments in Time - A day to Remember.

Lots of textures using Texture paste and a 
Kaisercraft Mask. 
I applied some Glass glitter for a little more sparkle
on the page.
Imaginarium Designs chipboard words, frames.

Christmas Carol - Kaisercraft

Hi everyone,

Christmas Carol

 is the another paper release collection from Kaisercraft this month, 

For my Kaisercraft Design Team projects,

I created an Advent calendar and layout.

 Here is the Advent Calendar, these are great for kids
to countdown the days to Christmas Day, you can put a little treat inside each box, if you want to!

When you purchase this Beyond the page wooden project the Numbers
come with the package, all you have to do is paint or ink them.

I created a little house with the papers!

Here is my layout, Santa and Jess in 2007

Oops, I almost forgot, I also created a very quick
Christmas card with these papers. 
Using one of my favourite diecuts.

St Nicholas - Kaisercraft Christmas papers

Hi everyone,

St Nicholas

 is the another paper release collection from Kaisercraft this month, 

Yes, Christmas is just around the corner!!!

I do love the vintage theme and colours

 with these new papers.

So, for my Kaisercraft Design Team projects,

I created a 

"Welcome to our home - Merry Christmas canvas, 

and some giant tags.

Using the Brickwork template to create

the brickwork with texture paste, paints & inks.

Here they are -

Merry christmas Canvas

wooden embellishments and metal knobs all
from Kasiercraft.

Wooden embellishment Pinecones are from Kaisercraft.

Using Kaisercraft clear stamps to create
the cracked effect on the brickwork.

Here are the Giant Tags, I stamped the words

from the Clear stamp set that has been released with this paper range.

Adding a little of some silver glass glitter 

for a bit of sparkle to the vintage papers.

I just love the little Prima bird resist canvas,

which I stained with Distress paints.

All the papers are Kasiercraft - Basecoat 2 papers.

Australian Scrapbooking Ideas - Issue 22

Hi everyone, 

Today I am sharing a layout which is

featured in the magazine

"Australian Scrapbooking Ideas" Issue 22, which is out now.

This layout is a photo of my Nephew when he

was around 3 years old. Such a cutie on the swing.

My commissioning projects are all 

about colour, in particularly the colour wheel 

and how we play with colours. 

Fabulous techniques and step by step on how to create them are all in the magazine.

This one is about contrasting colours 
on the colour wheel

in particular "Red and Green"

Now I know it is a boy page, so I put this question to everyone and please leave a comment below.

Can Boy pages have flowers on the page?????

Wrapped in Joy card - Couture Creations

Hello there everyone, 

Is it my turn again today 

at Couture Creations . 

Today a have created a Merry Christmas card, 
using the new Christmas range of Embossing folders
Wrapped in Joy C0723598 Joyful Wishes.

Firstly I cut a piece of Kraft cardstock and
placed it inside the embossing folder.
I then gently rubbed burgundy ink over the raised words
with a Couture Creations Sponge Daubers.

Matting on to some red cardstock and finally on some white cardstock.
I then added some christmas stickers, and also 
added some Red Couture Creations Gemstones to the centre of  the flowers.

Couture Creations - Butterfly Notes - 3 in 1 sets

Hello there everyone, 

Is it my turn again today 

at Couture Creations . 
Today I have a set of cards made from the
new 3 in 1 sets the called Dream Boat - Butterfly Notes.
In these 3 in 1 sets - you have an embossing folder, stamp set and diecuts of some of
the images on the stamp.

Firstly I stamped on cardstock with Vintage photo inkpad and the
clear stamps from the 3 in 1 set. Then I coloured the butterfly with
copic pens.
Then emboss the stamped cardstock with the embossing folder

I cut out some of the flowers with the diecut included in this
3 in 1 set and placed them on the card with Double side foam tape.

Here I also created a little note card

this would be lovely as a placecard on a table.
