CSI#153 - Happy Place

Hello there everyone, thanks for stopping by today.

One thing I am trying to do this year is to join in
and do at least one online scrapbook challenge, with so many
inspirational online sites and challenges, to choose from, I decided
to at least do one each
month, so this month I decided to do a CSI challenge.

Here is the challenge CSI #153.
I love doing these challenges, and love the
colour combinations, soft and pretty.

and here is my layout, "Happy Place"

This photo was taken recently when we

visited Disneyland - Paris

It was an amazing and happy place for all ages.

The castle in the background is Sleeping Beauty's castle.

Just an amazing and magical day, and one that I will always remember

sharing this special time with my family.

A dream for my daughter - come true.

for the 

Evidence - Border punch on edge of photo, lace, sprinkle of glitter on the bottom of page, circles, ribbon, twine, labels.

Testimony - Stack journalling on side of page and scrapped about one the happiness places on earth - Disneyland.

2 Cool 4 School - Kaisercraft

I am sure that everyone has some school photographs
of their children or grandkids, you can scrap with
these papers, they are best for these projects.

Creative Inspirations Magazine #7 & Pretty Cards

Hello!! there everyone, thanks for stopping by today,

is it my turn again at Couture Creations

Today I have created two cards with various diecuts from 
Couture Creations and along with the beautiful new papers,

Vintage Rose paper collection 

from Couture Creations.

BUT, I have some more exciting news…

I created a "Very Wise Old Owl" with Couture Creations
leaf dies with the new release Everyday Essentials  collections,
and it is on the front cover of latest
Issue 7 Creative Inspiration magazine.
Very excited to have my Wise Owl on the cover :)

now for my two quick and easy cards.....

With the first card -  I cut three of the 

Vintage Rose Diecut - Celtic Leaf C0724048
and also cut three square backgrounds for each diecut

also I cut some Vintage rose papers and adhere to the card, adding a flourish chipboard from Imaginairum Designs.

 Here is the finished card.....I placed a touch of Glitter Glitz on chipboard and also added some flowers.

Added foam tape under each celtic square for a more 3D effect.

for my second card "Happy Birthday" card
 I used a Floral Lace diecut - Daisy Doily C0724006

which I mounted on a Nesting Scallopped circle diecut and then 
I cut in half and place on top an bottom of the 

cardstock. Using the Vintage rose papers, for the background.

I also cut 2  Merry Little Christmas die cut- Christmas Branch C0723913

Although this vine/branch is themed for christmas, 
there is nothing to stop you from using it as a leaf embellishment 
with flowers.

Here is the finished card with Imaginairum Designs chipboard 

word "Happy Birthday"

adding a little  Glitzin glamour premium glitter glue

on the leaves and chipboard words.

"Love you to the Moon….."
Yes, in front of Effiel Tower in Paris……

To create this background I used
a die cut of a scallopped heart shape
and dabbed Kaisercraft inkpads
to create a scene of falling hearts on the background page.....
I love the finished effect...

"Be Mine" layout….a vintage
layout using a Vintage postcard from Paris….

"If I had a flower for every time I thought
of you, I could walk in my garden forever"..

Made this tag on the bottom of page from
the papers…. love all the layers

My layout - "VENICE"
this photo was taken on our last family trip recently in Venice - 
I just love this place,
so much history and art, all in one place.
I was standing in San Marco Square, looking out over
the canal with all many gondolas berthed on the edges of the pavements, 
just a perfect photo. In the distance are more islands and buildings of Venice.

Here is another layout "Treasure always"
using the Kaisercraft - Capture Moments cards
- a great way to showcase many photos on one simple page.
Again using photos taking in Venice
This is great idea for a double page for your scrapbooking album.

and I also created a very simple card as well.....
the paper collection have many little windows, door frames
and picture frames.
