Hi everyone welcome back, today I have created a quick and easy Christmas card created with one of the new release the Naughty and Nice Mini stamp CO726913 Holly Sprig and teamed up with some inking fun with the Card Deco Essentials Ink pads.
The Card Deco Essentials Ink pads are available in 68 colours, there are 36 Dye ink pads and 32 Pigment Ink Pads. I especially love the Pigment inks colours - as these can be used with embossing powders. Here is the technique.....

I will explain how I created this background of holly leaves, its so super easy and the effect is amazing....
1. Stamp the holly leaves around the card stock with Black Card Deco Pigment Ink CDEIPL025, while it is still wet, sprinkle some Clear Pearl Translucent embossing powder over the stamped image. Tap away all the excess and then
gently heat the embossing powder with a Heat Gun tool.
The embossing image is ready to be coloured in.
NOTE: Create the holly leaves individually - so I repeated the same process 5 times , around the card stock.
2. Using the Card Deco Dye Ink pads and a craft or mixed media mat. Dab some ink colour on the craft mat, spritz with a little water and
colour the leaves and berries with a water brush and colours from the inks.
The Dye inks are perfect for stamping and another use for them is for colouring in images.

3. Using the Olive Green CDEIPU024 Dye Ink and
Yellow Green CDEIPU022 Dye Ink with a sponge dauber blend the colours around the edges. Darker colour on the outside, lighter colour in the inside. These ink colours blend beautifully together on card stock.
4. Adding a ephemera sentiment and foiled frame using the Go Press and foil machine, for the centre of the card, a little red bow for an extra touch.

Here are extra super quick cards using the Dye inks around the edges of the cards and also you will notice some of the holly leaves which were embossed. This time adding some finishing touches of the new 3D Decoupage sheets - they are so quick and easy to use... just apply foam strips or foam dots in between the layering. Most images have at least 4 layers.
