Christmas cards with THE GIFT OF GIVING collection

 Hello and welcome back, Adriana here today with some more Christmas cards inspiration, using the New Release from Couture Creations

THE GIFT OF GIVING  

This Christmas collection has the perfect combination of papers, dies, ephemera and stamping to create some wonderful Christmas Cards.. I teamed up some of these products with Alcohol Inks on Yupo paper to create unique background for layering on the cards.

The papers are from the small paper pad The Gift of Giving CO727896 - 6.5" x 6.5" 

then using with the Mirror Board Vintage GOLD to cut the following 

The Gift of Giving Dies:

and also the stamp and die set 

CO727910 Layered Poinsettia The Gift of Giving

adding  the ephemera images of leaves and sentiments. 

Using the Layering Poinsettia stamp and die set to create this gorgeous bloom, I added some foam tape underneath each layer of the flower.

The backgrounds effects are created on Yupo Paper with Couture Creations Alcohol Inks.

How pretty is this !!! a soft and subtle background is created with

Yupo paper together and Alcohol Inks...

Art Journalling with Alcohol Inks Part #1

Hi everyone, Adriana here today and I am exploring techniques on creating wonderful backgrounds with 
Couture Creations Alcohol Inks 
on normal art journalling paper and books.  I have been playing around with Alcohol inks on Yupo paper and I also love creating in my art Journal book.  I have created a video to show you all how to create on Yupo paper and then while the inks are still wet on the Yupo paper, I place a page from my art journal (300gsm) over the top , rubbing the back and presto a unique transfer of the alcohol ink colour onto the art journalling card stock is achieved.  I love the effect... and this is now ready to be stamped, coloured or using a stencil and some texture paste over the page.

After I created my background, on my journal pages, I stamped some images with the
