Couture Creations - Travel Snap Photo

Hi there everyone, welcome back to my blog,  today I am sharing my layout that I have created using the latest Couture Creations products. These die cuts are all now available from your local scrapbooking store and if they don't have them
in store, get them to order them in for you.

"Travel Snap Photo" by Adriana Bolzon

Yes, I have created another layout using one of my many many photos of beautiful VENICE, besides Paris, I think this is my 2nd favourite place in the world.

The photo was taken in outside San Marco Square, looking up at the Campanile which towers 98 metres (nearly 322 feet). We went to the top of this Bell Tower which houses 4 very big iron bells. It was an awesome view from the top, you can see all of Venice…
I have some more photos later in this post, of the fantastic views of Venice landscape…. clusters of buildings in between water.

Using the dies
Everyday Essentials - Autumn Leaf C0723112
for all the leaves under the die cut flowers, and
Kalini Intricutz dies - Falling Blossoms C0724251

and
Background Savvy die cut
Honeypot C0724088

Papers are from the Heart's Ease paper collection.

Using the Background Savvy die cut - Honeypot C0724088
as a stencil and decorating the background with a ink pad.

Adding Imaginarium Designs chipboard words at the bottom on the page and
Couture Creations Gemstones Seaspray C0721989 around the centre of the flowers,

I love the colours of the Heart Ease papers - purple with green and then adding some blues and yellow, just makes an awesome combination of colours:)

As promised some more photos of Venice from the top
of the Campanile

Until next time, Thanks for looking, Cheers Adriana XXX   :)

Couture Creations - Decorated Gift Bag

Hello there everyone,
It's my turn at Couture Creations again today, showing you all a step by step project created with some of the fabulous products from Couture Creations.  My project for today, is a decorated gift bag, the flowers are made from the Couture Creations Scallop Circle Nesting Dies and background from a Couture Creations Annalee Romantique Embossing folder and Couture Creations Victorian Rectangle Nesting Dies.
I always have a stack of these plain brown paper gift bags in my cupboard, and I always decorate them and create a matching card or tag.

How to create the flowers:-
The Scallop Circle Nesting Die Cuts comes with 6 different sizes,
for my step by step, let's call the No1 Die the smallest and the largest die cut is No 6.

From Pink Cardstock,
To create the larger flower,
cut out
2 diecut pieces each of no 6,
1 diecut piece each of no4, no3 & no2.

To create the smaller flower
cut out
1 diecut of no4, no3 & no2 from pink card stock.

Cut a triangle cone shape out of each scallop circle.
Gently cut along between every third scallop shaped edges to the center,
but not all the way through.
Repeat this process for all the scallop circles.

Ink all the edges with raspberry ink.

Overlap one petal on top of the next petal where you made the cut, adhere with double sided tape.  Repeat process to all flower petals.

With a bamboo skewer or thin stick, curl all the edges of the petals over, this will give them dimensions to each petal. Pierce a hole in the center of each flower, place smaller flower inside middle flower and this inside the large flower, place Kaisercraft pearl brad through centre of flower.

Cut a piece of Black Magic Core'dinations Hermit GX-BM570 coloured card stock, fit inside the Annalee Romantique Embossing folder, once embossed, gently sand over cardstock to reveal embossed image.

Cut 2 Victorian Rectangle Nesting Dies , from brown card stock, ink edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink, then cut in half, place and adhere on top and bottom side of embossed Black Magic cardstock. Adhere this cardstock on the front of paper bag with double sided tape. Adhere flowers with doubled sided foam in the middle.

Add Pink Glitzin Glamour Glitter Glue to the edges of flowers, rub gently glitter glue with your finger over petals, this will give a bit of bling and glitter to your flowers, leave to dry.

I also created a simple small gift tag with the a small flower, using the same step by step,
adding a twine bow on the top.

........so, I hope I have given you all a little inspiration to create your own gift bags with tags, and create stunning flowers with Couture Creations Nesting Dies.
Happy crafting everyone :)     Cheers Adriana XX

Couture Creations - Flowerpot card

Hello there everyone,
it's my first  Design Team project today here at Couture Creations ,
showing you all a step by step project with the fabulous products from Couture Creations.
Today, I have created a Flowerpot Happy Birthday card,
these have been popular lately and this is my interpretation of one.

Happy Birthday Flower Pot Card

TO CREATE THE FLOWER POT

Cut a piece of card stock 28cm x 12 cm
Score cardstock at 4 cm and at 16cm, fold on each score line.
Ink edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

At the 16cm fold, measure 3cm from each end and cut out triangular shape.

Fold over top flap and attach on to front of pot with
also attach Doubled sided tape 3mm x 25m each side of pot,
peel tape backing and close pot,
this will create an opening on top of pot for your tag.

TO CREATE FLOWERS & TAG

Cut 3 Sunflowers for the Couture Creations Sunflower Nesting Dies
with different coloured papers. To create a tag cut a piece of cardstock 8cm x 14cm.

Place all flower pieces through

Ink all the edges and on top of embossed images with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
Pierce a hole in the center of each flower, place smaller flower inside
middle flower and then inside the large flower,
place Kaisercraft pearl brad through centre of flower.
Repeat process to all flower petals.

On top of tag attach flower, adhere double sided foam tape
on the other two flowers on either side of middle flower.

Cut 3 Decorative Die- Moments in Time from green cardstock,
cut in half and place around flowers and on the top of pot.
Create a bow with Seam binding ribbon attach in centre of tag.
Write your message on the tag.

Cut a piece of cardstock 8cm x 6 cm, fold in half and attach
on back of pot, this will help to keep the pot standing upright.

Decorate pot with messages or more flowers, if desired.
