So,  here is my layout
I created the background with Couture Creations "The Marriott" collection
"Wire Barbs" C0723676

Layout titled "Travel Snap Shots"

To create the background -
I gently applied some paints to the raised side of your embossing folder.

Place embossing folder on the
black cardstock, pressing firmly on to the cardstock, and randomly
stamp over the cardstock.

Gently lift off your embossing folder to reveal your
stamped image ...

TIp:  please make sure that you clean and wipe the excess paint once
you have finished creating your page.

I then embossed several pieces of card stock with the
embossing folder and lightly sanded down the embossed image.

With the chipboards I applied some paints , then once dry
I applied some glossy accents

Here is the list of Imaginarium Designs chipboards I used for my page
IMAGINARIUM DESIGNS CHIPBOARDS Materials
Travel Snap Shots IDW0053

and list of Couture Creations Embossing folder and Dies.

Love the effect the barbed wire folder gives to all the different pieces of paper. Really helps tie it all together.
