Hello there everyone and welcome back,
Today I am sharing another page layout showcasing some of the new release from Couture Creations, the
SUNBURNT COUNTRY COLLECTION
This collection has 12 x 12 papers, small paper pads, dies, stamps and decoupage sheets and coaster-board.
I love travelling around the world, visiting so many beautiful places but I also think we have some amazing places here in Australia. A few years ago we were able to go to Sydney in January and staying there on Australia Day January 26th. The day was amazing as the Sydney Harbour was in party mood. This picture was taken over the other side of Opera House and
a few airforce planes were flying over to make the celebrations of Australia Day.

The layout is created with some of papers and a few mini dies and added some coaster boards from this collection - again I am trying so hard not to make these pages lumpy and bumpy as this page will go into an album.
The technique I have featured here is using leftover die cuts as a stencil.
Be sure to go the end of this blog post to see my short video on this technique.

Using the reverse side of paper CO727289 from the Sunburnt Country Collection
I love all the Aussie language script on this paper eg G'day, Strewth, Howzat!!
Together with a script of reverse side of CO727284 paper
Distressed each side of the papers
and adding some ink colour with Card Deco CDEIPU028 Brown Dye ink
The technique featured in my video is of the Eucalyptus Leaves scattered around the framed photo, this fabulous technique using the leftovers from the die cutting of the mini die CO727221 Eucalyptus, with Card Deco Essential Olive Green Pigment Ink CDEIPL018.
I then fuzzy cut the bird from the 6.5" x 6.5" paper pad and added some more die cutting elements from the collection
CO727227 Acacia Mini Branch Die
CO727221 Eucalyptus Mini Die
CO727233 Fenced in Mini Die
I then stamped and heat embossed the mini stamp
CO727201 Warratah Mini stamp - coloured it in with watercolour pencils
and added to the page
ROAD TRIP Mini die CO727210
Then adding the final touch on the page
Coasterboard CO727241 Wonders Coaster Board set of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House - just perfect for this page.
The word "New South Wales" from the cities sentiments collection of coaster board CO727271, these were slightly inked on the sides with brown ink colour.
