Handbag with Vintage Postcards - Meg's Garden

Hi everyone,
Vintage Challenge at Meg's Garden is on
you still have time to enter,
all the details are HERE
some fabulous prizes to win.........but
Today I have a project which I have created for my
Meg's Garden Design Team work for this month,
it is a Handbag
and inside the bag are
4 Vintage Ladies Postcards.

Using the new papers from Meg's Garden
Designed by Denise -

The Bag.

I covered the outside of the bag with
Adhered some German Scrap border
with glue around the bottom edges of the bag.

I attached a Brass Latch and hook - Scalloped
for the closure of the bag
(there are so many to choose from
Meg's Garden website) also I
attached a Striped satin Ribbon - Brown and latte colour
 for a handle.

I also created 4 postcards,
which fit quite nicely inside the bag.

The size of these postcards are 9cm x 11cm
Smaller than a normal sized card and a bit
larger than an Artist trading card.
You could place these on top of card, if you like!  :)

Growing UP

Hi everyone
I have had a very busy month, and
today I am catching up on a few things. I
have a layout that I have created for and
intended to join in at the
Once upon a sketch
challenge site, but unfortunately time
was not my side this
month and I missed posting it on their website
(the due date was on the 25th)
OH well, not to worry :)
I am here to share it with you all today.

Using the latest release papers
from Meg's Garden
Growing Up is the theme at
Once upon a sketch

"Growing up happens in a Heartbeat.
You are growing up way too fast."

A layout of my Darling Daughter at the age of
3 years old, such a cutie:)
Using the design sketch from "Once upon a sketch"
Lots of layers under the photograph
of the Elements paper and
the new papers Dreaming in the Meadows
paper collection.
Adding some lace and flowers, all from Meg's Garden.
Can you see two vintage little girls
hidden in the layout?
Well, That's all for today.

Stay warm and thanks for looking
Cheers Adriana XX  :)
