Beautiful Butterfly - Tag Book

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by,

Today I have a project I created with the

new The Butterfly Mini Book papers / printables.

and all the embellishments are all from Meg's Garden

website.

I had this oversized tag/album in my possession

for such a long time, I thought I would create with this and

the papers from Meg's Garden.

These set of papers come with many pages

and for you to create many projects.

Here is my finished Large Tag/Album...

This is what I started with  

The Butterfly Mini Book papers.

I covered each tag with the Papers 

Front page - I made a layered butterfly with music
papers and butterfly image from the lovely papers. 
Adding embellishments all from Meg's garden.
List of materials is at the end of this post.

Second Page - Adding a Calendar for 2015
This set of tags can stand up - so I think I will put this
on my desk. Lots of gorgeous flowers and washi tape
and german scrap lace to decorate tag. And
of course the butterflies from the 
The Butterfly Mini Book papers.

Third Tag - Made a pocket with the an envelope 
and decorated on top of envelope
Made some tags with the wonderful Butterfly papers.

Fourth Tag - Using images and butterflies from 
the Butterfly papers, adding some
flowers and diamonte trim
all from Meg's Garden.

Little Bird Nest - Triptych

Hi everyone, i

I have a special little project that I have created for
my DT work for Meg's Garden.
It is a Triptych, you may ask
"What is a Triptych?????" it is  pronounced "Trip-tik"

It is a picture or carving on three panels, hinged together vertically and used as an altarpiece but in my case it is an Altered Art piece! :)

I made the panels from the Tim Holtz

"Artful Dwellings" die cut

covered it with the latest release of papers

The side panels are just flat but the middle panel I made it into a little house. 
Inside the opening is a little cute birdie. 
I made his nest with Fibres and a Mulberry 
paper flower all from Meg's Garden website.

around the back I covered with the
Dreaming in Lavenders & Dreaming in Mulberry papers

and did some fuzzy cutting of the flowers from the papers.

Handbag with Vintage Postcards - Meg's Garden

Hi everyone,
Vintage Challenge at Meg's Garden is on

Today I have a project which I have created for my 

Meg's Garden Design Team work for this month, 
it is a Handbag

and inside the bag are 
4 Vintage Ladies Postcards.

Using the new papers from Meg's Garden 
Designed by Denise -

 Dreaming in the Meadows and

Top Hat and Automobiles

The Bag.

I covered the outside of the bag with 

Dreaming in Lavenders paper Paper P6351

Adhered some German Scrap border
with glue around the bottom edges of the bag.

I attached a Brass Latch and hook - Scalloped 
for the closure of the bag

(there are so many to choose from

Meg's Garden website) also I

attached a Striped satin Ribbon - Brown and latte colour
 for a handle.

A spray of Viola Posy Lilac Pink and leaves

Violet Jazz fibres

I also created 4 postcards, 
which fit quite nicely inside the bag.

The size of these postcards are 9cm x 11cm

Smaller than a normal sized card and a bit

larger than an Artist trading card.

You could place these on top of card, if you like!  :)

Vintage Chocolate Box

Hi everyone, 

Today I have project created for my Meg's Garden Design Team for this month, it is a chocolate box 
with the Elements papers from Meg's Garden and 

New paper collection Dreaming in the Meadows

 Meg's Garden website

Firstly, I ate the chocolates.....yummy.....
then I covered the top and bottom of the box with 
dusty pink coloured card stock, 
which I embossed with a Couture Creations embossing folder.
I applied white Distress Paints on the embossed cardstock. 
It looks and feels like velvet.

On the top of the box I decorated it with
German Scrap border on the each edge. 
Then I glued some German scrap border on the each end.
I apply glossy accents to the chipboard frames and placed
some German Glass Glitter and tea stained fragments. 
I placed a paper Doily and a Vintage Beauty Image
inside the glittery frame.

I adhered two Organza Lace in dusty pink and green 
at each end and a 
transparent Butterfly for an extra touch.

Around the edges I covered with the newest paper collection
Dreaming in Rose paper , some German Scrap
To finish and close this 
box with a Striped satin Ribbon - Brown and latte colour 

Inside the box I covered it with
French Cinema Elements paper from the

Elements Packs available also from 
Meg's garden website. 
Then I decorated on the edges with small
 paper Doily and German Scrap

Inside the box is a Vintage Beauty tag and a little note book
and matching pen. These are made from the new papers 
Dreaming in the Meadows paper - Dreaming in Mulberry & Dreaming in Lavendar

The materials I have used on the tag are 

Viola Pansy violet 
Vintage Beauty Image

Striped satin Ribbon - Brown and latte colour 
5cm white lace

The notebook and covered pen is made with the
Dreaming in Mulberry paper
Cornsilk flower
Elements for the Paris cover
