Vintage Birthday Cards

Hi there , today I have created with the one of these vintage decoupage sheets, I actually had this sitting in my craft room for such a long time.  
I love using up my craft stash, and thought that these images are very vintage but perfectly team up with some of the Modern Essentials cut, foil and emboss dies.

This time I will not be foiling the die but actually using it like a die but adding ink colour with a pigment ink on top of the die and running it through my die cutting machine.

Inking the die with Brown ink and dusty pink ink before running the die through my die cutting machine.




Adding some flowers and leaves in clusters 
Adding the decoupage images in the centre of cards.

Enjoy card - Gentleman's Emporium collection

Hi there and welcome back ...It' Happy Friday and let's go out with a bang !!
It's been a busy week but looking forwards to the weekend - and school holidays - hooray !!!!

Today, I have an different card created with the new release paper collection from Couture Creations Gentleman's Emporium, 

These papers are very masculine themed ones, but I created my card with a delicate twist - adding some flowers from my endless stash. Adding some foiled butterflies and I am happy with the result. What do you think??

Thinking out side the normality - whatever normal is !! LOL
Creating with what normally is masculine colours - I created my card with a touch of my feminine side ! Hope you like it , have a great weekend !!

Happy Birthday Card - Modern Essentials Dies

Hello everyone, and welcome - today I wanted to share a 
special Happy Birthday card that I  have created with the 
Couture Creations  "Modern Essentials" Cut, foil and emboss die frames.

These dies can be used with the Go Press and Foil Machine to achieve the foiled edges around the shape, but they can also be used in your normal manual die cutting machine. Of course, you will not get the foiled edges but if you stamp ink around the edges of these dies and place them through your die cut machine, you will get a cut out piece ready to play with and create your project.

I coloured some card stock with Distress Oxides and added some green ink with the C'est Le Vie "Intricate stencil" from Couture Creations.




Using the GO PRESS FOIL machine and Modern Essentials 
CO726464 - Chandlier Frames die and Vintage Gold Heat activated foil
I created a gorgeous gold frame for my card.





Adding a seam binding ribbon with a pearl centre
and also adding a few decoupage images, I just love these images of flowers.

This card is very special one as it if for my Mother-in-Law who is turning 93 years old.  Happy Birthday Mum !!

Decoupage & Modern Essential dies - Couture Creations

Hello everyone and welcome back to the Couture Creations Blog, Adriana here today with a very special collection of cards using one of the decoupage sheet from the Hobby Dot and Do's kits.... I have been a long time fan of decoupage images, love using them on my cards and projects.

The new release of Hobby Dot and Do's kits are fabulous card kits which are all available now from your local paper-craft store. All the materials required to create 3 beautiful cards are included in each kit.  
Today, I want to show you a different way or twist to the decoupage sheets that you can create different styles of cards with just the decoupage images from these kits (but you can use any decoupage sheets) teamed up with the fabulous Go Press and Foil Machine and one of the Modern Essential Cut, Foil and Emboss dies.

Using the pretty Petal Pink Foil CO725701 Pink Foil on Cream card-stock, the effect together created an awesome detailed background to the card.

The inner square was created with Gold Vintage Foil CO725355 withblack card-stock, very striking effect.  Placing my 3D Pushout decoupage sheets on top along with some leave diets in green card stock.





Here is another card using the same Modern Essentials die
CO726469 Decorative Nesting Panel cut, foil & emboss dies, together with Heat activated Yellow matte Gold Foil CO725354 - I little bit a green tones in this gold foil colour.







But for this card below
I created by background with stamping ink colour all over the background
of the Modern Essential Cut, Foil and Emboss dies, CO726469 Decorative Nesting Panel cut, foil & emboss dies. 

Gently placing this die and cardstock on my sandwich platform on my Go Cut and Emboss machine. The excellent versatility of these dies is that you can use your normal die cutting machine and no foiling required.

Today, I have a decided to create two very vintage and elegant cards for the Couture Creations blog - using the release paper collection from 
Couture Creations "Butterfly Garden"   and of course, the fabulous Go Press and Foil Machine together with the Modern Essentials Cut, Foil & Emboss dies. 

The "Butterfly Garden"  collection is a wonderful collection of papers, ephemera pack, dies and Hot-foil stamps. It has a very soft vintage feel so I decided to team it up with a vintage photo - the soft gold foiling just makes the card so pretty and vintage. Using the Modern Essential Nesting Cut, Foil and Emboss dies - I am so loving the combination (lovely)
