Snowflakes Christmas Cards

Hi everyone welcome back, Adriana here, for my blog post today I have created a couple of very different Christmas cards Teamed up with some of the
 New Card Deco Essentials Inks from Couture Creations.
I love creating backgrounds with stamping and embossing powders.
So, I decided to create a different colour theme instead of the usual
green, gold and red christmas traditional colours - I stepped out of the square and created these two cards in Blue & Silver tones!! I love the touches of silver to complement the blue tones.

Using the Snowflake mini stamp CO726915




from the Naughty Or Nice collection
I stamped the image a few times around the card stock with
Card Deco Essential Pearl White Pigment Ink CDEIPL008



then lightly added some
Glacier White Opaque Embossing Powder CO725963
and heat set with my heat gun





With a sponge dauber blend some of the
Card Deco Essential Mid Blue Pigment Ink CDEIPL015 & in the centre
Card Deco Essential Blue Purple Pigment Ink CDEIPL014











Did you know that all cut, foil and emboss dies DO NOT HAVE TO BE foiled!!!!
This time I added pigment ink to the Naughty or Nice - Donner reindeer CO726929,cut foil and emboss die then
as per the sandwich combination of any die cutting with your die cutting machine
I created a inked reindeer ! Yes, no foiling just inking!!

Adding some seam binding ribbon and some 
Lacey silver stickers for added silvery touch AD246201







For the second card, I did the same background but added the Merry Christmas
cut, foil and emboss die - again NO FOILING - just adding pigment ink and running it through the die cutting machine.

Cut, foil and emboss dies are so great and versatile, as you do not have to foil with them, just add some pigment ink over the top and then place through your die cutting machine and presto and decorative element with no foiling just coloured and all cut out in one process, too easy !!

Merry Christmas Layout with Adriana

Hi everyone welcome back, Adriana here today for Couture Creations. Today,  I have created a layout with the New Christmas Release Naughty and Nice collection.
This layout was created with one background paper.

then Adding some finishing touches with die cut flowers and some ephemera pieces from the NAUGHTY OR NICE ephemera pack collection.

The paper I used for the background is 

CO726896 from the Naughty or Nice collection.

Step 1. Cut approximately 11 cm from the right hand side - straight down
and then turning the papers around so that the two holly pattern papers join together.

Step 2. Adhering the two pieces to a 12" x 12" red card stock backing paper.

Step 3 - Mat photograph with other Naughty or Nice papers  - adhering this in the centre right of the layout page. 

Step 4. Create Merry Christmas word sentiment with the Merry Christmas cut, foil and emboss die CO726932.  Die cut mini Dasher die. CO726904 with mirror board,

also create some poinsettia flowers with flower die and create clusters around photograph.

Step 5. Arrange and adhere the baubles from the Naughty or Nice ephemera pack, adding some touches of glitter over the top.

Modern Foiling Christmas cards with Adriana

Hi everyone welcome back, today I have created a couple of very modern foiled Christmas cards with the New Christmas Release Naughty and Nice collection.
Teamed up with one of the New 3D Decoupage Christmas sheets. 
The christmas papers, hotfoiling stamps together with the 3D Decoupage sheets completely compliment each other so perfectly, you too could create wonderful cards like this.

For my first card, I created a background of one of the paper from the
Naughty and Nice collection, using one side (red) and the reverse side (golden).

<<<INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS CARD>>>

1. Cut Naughty & Nice paper (golden side) CO726898 13cm x 13cm, adhere to a square folded card 13.5cm squared.

2. Cut Naughty & Nice paper (red side) CO726898 - 12cm x 12cm adhere onto the golden paper.

3. Cut 4 of the Gentleman's Emporium Corner mini die CO726834 dies with the Naughty and Nice paper CO726898, adhere to each corner of the card.

4. Using the GoPress and Foil machine , Modern Essential Decorative Nesting Die CO726465 and Gold Heat activated foil CO726063, Metal conversion plate, white card stock- create a large foiled frame. Cut the centre out with a circle Nesting die.

INSTRUCTIONS, CUT, FOIL AND EMBOSS DIES 
 WITH GO PRESS AND FOIL - 

just a reminder for those who don't know how to.

Turn machine on

Open Lid
Place Metal Conversion plate on platform of machine

Place cut, foil and emboss die on top of metal conversion plate

Place cut foil colour side down (gold)

Place card stock on top (white card stock)

Close lid and let it heat for 30-40 seconds

Wind slowly the platform through and back in your die cutting machine.

5. Create a foiled Donner reindeer CO726929, as per the above combination with the Go Press and foil machine, but this time use the Chocolate Heat activated foil CO725702






6.  Secure foiled frame and foiled Reindeer with doubled sided foam dots.

7. Using one of the cluster images from the 3D decoupage sheets CO727068 and foam strips and foam dots, create the layered decoupaged cluster of holly and baubles. 

You might noticed that I place the little green bow on my foiled reindeer instead of the cluster of holly leaves. Too cute :)

My other card is created the same way as my first card, but this time foiling the smaller circle frame from the Modern Essentials Die. The size of papers are the same as the first card.
