Snowflakes Christmas Cards

Hi everyone welcome back, Adriana here, for my blog post today I have created a couple of very different Christmas cards Teamed up with some of the
 New Card Deco Essentials Inks from Couture Creations.
I love creating backgrounds with stamping and embossing powders.
So, I decided to create a different colour theme instead of the usual
green, gold and red christmas traditional colours - I stepped out of the square and created these two cards in Blue & Silver tones!! I love the touches of silver to complement the blue tones.

Using the Snowflake mini stamp CO726915




from the Naughty Or Nice collection
I stamped the image a few times around the card stock with
Card Deco Essential Pearl White Pigment Ink CDEIPL008



then lightly added some
Glacier White Opaque Embossing Powder CO725963
and heat set with my heat gun





With a sponge dauber blend some of the
Card Deco Essential Mid Blue Pigment Ink CDEIPL015 & in the centre
Card Deco Essential Blue Purple Pigment Ink CDEIPL014











Did you know that all cut, foil and emboss dies DO NOT HAVE TO BE foiled!!!!
This time I added pigment ink to the Naughty or Nice - Donner reindeer CO726929,cut foil and emboss die then
as per the sandwich combination of any die cutting with your die cutting machine
I created a inked reindeer ! Yes, no foiling just inking!!

Adding some seam binding ribbon and some 
Lacey silver stickers for added silvery touch AD246201







For the second card, I did the same background but added the Merry Christmas
cut, foil and emboss die - again NO FOILING - just adding pigment ink and running it through the die cutting machine.

Cut, foil and emboss dies are so great and versatile, as you do not have to foil with them, just add some pigment ink over the top and then place through your die cutting machine and presto and decorative element with no foiling just coloured and all cut out in one process, too easy !!

Christmas Wishes cards - Super quick and easy cards

Hi everyone welcome back, today I have created a couple of quick and super easy Christmas cards created with some of the New 3D Decoupage Christmas sheets and teamed up with some inking fun with the Card Deco Essentials Ink pads. There are two different types of inks in the collection, there are the Essential Dye Inks (36 colours) and the Essential Pigment Inks (32 colours). There are a total of 68 different colours and gorgeous hues. 

Today, I have created the backgrounds of my cards using ink colour from one of the Card Deco Essential Dye Inks range. Using two different techniques. Once I created the background colour I just added some of the new release 3D Decoupage sheets on top the cards - super easy and lots of fun. You could get the little ones involved in making some super quick and easy cards.






To create this background below, Using the Card Deco Olive Green Dye Ink and a sponge dauber. I blended some colour over the centre of the card.  So super easy, the ink colour just blends in beautifully with the white card stock.  





Then adding a sentiment and foiled frame using the Go Press and foil machine.

For my next two cards - I created the backgrounds using a stamping block
and Card Deco Olive Green Dye Ink pad. CDEIPU024

Firstly I dabbed some colour from the ink pad all over the rectangle stamping block





I then spritzed that colour ink with water in a spray bottle.







While still wet, gently placed the inked stamped stamping block on to the card stock. 






Then heat dried with a Heat Gun.

The result is a soft colour hue background - perfect for the
a background for the 3D Decoupage sheets.  Don't you think??

Just for You card using the Card Deco Essential Dye Inks

Hi everyone welcome back, today I have created a Male card created with some of the New Couture Creations Essentials Ink pads. There are two different types of inks in the collection, they are the Essential Dye Inks and the Essential Pigment Inks. There are a total of 68 different colours and gorgeous hues. 

Today I have created my card using a couple of these inks from the Essential Dye Inks.

Adding some touches of foiled cog chipboards together with the new 

GENTLEMAN"S EMPORIUM COLLECTION of mini stamps.  In particular the
CO726839 Gentleman's Timepiece Mini stamp
CO726841 Vintage Key Mini stamp
CO726838 Crank Start Mini stamp
using these stamps together with the Couture Creations Essential Ink pads, they stamp perfectly and they add great finishing touches to any projects.

These ink pads are coming to a store near you. They are just perfect for paper crafters. I was lucky to have a play with some of them and I have some great tips and techniques to share in the next coming weeks.

INSTRUCTIONS for card ...

1.    Cut Denim card at 10.5cm, score in half with bone folder or with the Multi Purpose scoring boarding, score and fold in half.

2.   Cut Mocha Card card 14.5 x 10 cm, adhere on front of the card.

3.   Cut the Gentleman's Emporium Designer paper CO726814, 7cm x 13.4cm, Using the Timepiece clock mini stamp randomly the image with Essential Dye Deep Sea blue ink pad.  Spread Essential Dye Deep Sea Ink Pad and also Brown Dye ink pad on a mix media craft sheet, spray some water and gently tap colour on the card stock. Dry with heat gun.  Attach three brads at the top left hand corner, secure on front of card with doubled sided tape.

4.   Cut the Designer paper CO726821 6cm x 7.5cm, stamp vintage car with Essential Dye Brown ink, ink edges with some ink and sponge dabber.  Mat this on a piece of Mocha card, apply foam tape underneath and secure on front of card, as shown in photograph.

5.   Foil – with Copper Heat activated foil, chipboard cogs foil these with the assistance of the Go Press & Foil together with the metal adapter plate on platform of the Go Press and Foil machine.  Once heated, place platform of the Go Press & Foil machine through Die cutting machine. Secure foiled chipboard cogs with glue around card, as shown in photograph.

6.   Cut a piece from Gentleman's Emporium Designer paper CO726821, stamp 2 vintage keys mini stamps with Essential Dye Brown ink, Cut with scissors around the keys and secure on card with foam tape, as shown in photograph.

7.   Using the foam dots, arrange Ephemera sentiment “Just for You”, on card. Create a double bow with twine or sting – secure on front of the card.
