OUAS - Weekend FUN

Hi there everyone

Over at  ONCE UPON A SKETCH, 
the wonderful Nadia has created 

a wonderful sketch and challenge

for the month of March.

Here are the details

You have to create a page about what you love about the weekend.

Theme: "Its The Weekend!"

 What does your weekend look like? 

Maybe you work, or run around like crazy taking your kids to activities etc. 

Lunch with friends? Movies? Dinner? Or maybe you do all the exciting 

stuff like ...clean the house, tend to the garden , kinds birthday parties. 

You might like to tell us of an exciting weekend coming up, or a weekend past.

 Maybe a weekend getaway? Whatever it is that you want to tell us that 

has to do with the theme "Its The Weekend" we would love to hear it. 

Your layout must incorporate this theme and the sketch below.

Now you may have noticed that I turned it
on its side, that's how I designed my layout 
based on this sketch on its side.

Using the wonderful bits and bob left overs 
of the "Finnabair" 
class kits at the beginning
of this month, and also with a bit of 
inspiration from the delightful
"Finnabair", but not to mechanical,
 I created this layout. 
I also created more 
clogs with the Tim Holtz die cut 
and Grungeboard.

As a family we love going to the local park and playground.

the journalling reads,

"Weekend FUN in the Park

On the 7^th day of the week

it is our time to rest and play

We love going to the local park

to climb some rocks,

swing on a hanging wheel,

and play some tennis.

Great FUN play".

Summer Love

St Valentine's Day here in Australia 

and in many parts of the world. 

Love takes on many forms of relationship love, parental love etc etc. 

So let's think about what the above quote 

can mean and how you can interpret it on a layout.   You are free to scrap about any kind of love 

you wish however you like based on a sketch provided at Once Upon a Sketch. 

Ideas for journalling: love for your partner, family, parents ,siblings , children, work, students, craft, music, extra curricular activities!

This is a layout of my Darling Daughter, Jessica, 

we love her so much and  I wanted to say 

why we love her. 

Love the sketch that Nadia has designed this month, but I made a heart shape instead of the circle reflecting on the love theme. The journaling on the side states: 

“ We LOVE you because you are funny, carefree, beautiful person. 

You are sensitive, sensible and intelligent. 

You are our daughter, granddaughter, 

cousin, niece and friend.

You are loved always, 

live the life you want. 

Love life everyday.”
