Moment in time - layout - Gentleman's Emporium collection

Hi there and welcome back, Adriana here today with another layout using the new release paper collection from Couture Creations Gentleman's Emporium, 

the papers are designed by Denise Boddey.

Here is a sneaky peaky ....




This time instead of foiling the Gentleman's Emporium CO726854 PocketWatch Cut , Foil and Emboss die, I actually inked the whole die and ran it through my die cutting machine. If you have a die cutting machine you can use these Cut and Emboss dies wiht inks, how cool is that. They will cut and emboss all at the same time.
I created several of these and some I cut in half, tucking them under the photograph. I have created a video at the end of this blog post on how to create this cut out pocket watches... check it ..




Here is my layout - the photograph was taken in Germany
Just outside the village town square. 




But firstly I started with the
Gentleman's Emporium 12 x 12 paper CO726825 and stamped randomly around the page and around the edges with the Gentleman's Emporium Ornate mini stamp CO726840, using a brown ink colour pad.




Then I cut out most of the elements tags from the 
Gentleman's Emporium 12 x 12 paper. CO72682.
Then I inked around the edges and placed them behind my matted photograph and also side the photograph.






I embossed the Gentleman's Emporium Filigree Corner chipboard CO726866 with Couture Creations Chunky Cooper embossing powder. Love the distressed look of this, I added this to the top and bottom of my layout.





Adding some foliage, string and flower cluster for additional texture.

Travel Journal - "Just Landed" Kaisercraft

Hello and welcome, Adriana here today, sharing my projects that I have created with the latest paper collections from Kaisercraft. 

"Just Landed" Paper collection



This new paper collection is a fabulous one for capturing the memories and journeys of travel. We visited Italy recently and so I wanted to capture and create a very inexpensive travel journal or memento - with many photos of our trip, I have called this book-  Journey to Italy. I still have to write in my journalling parts but I want to show you how you can create a very easy book with Large oversize Envelopes.  I will be writing my journalling notes neatly in the spaces of my journal book but for now you can see all the lovely photos of my travels.
Before I show you all my project here as just a few suggestions on how to journal or write while travelling.

While you are travelling and still fresh in your mind, you may think that it could be a bit silly to record details of your trip but sometimes details are forgotten. So, here are some tips and prompts to help you write about those details in a journal or notebook. I wrote my thoughts and details in a little pocket book diary and I will transfer those notes in this Travel Album that I have created, so that I can add my photos, tickets and like notes inside my journal album.

You may be stuck about what do I write about, well here are some pointers to help you get started.

* Write about your anticipation, what you are looking forward to the most about your trip.

* List the events of each day

*Record your costs  & purchases 
*The highs and lows of the day 
*Any major news events that happened during the trip 
*The weather 
*Unusual foods or new words you have learnt.

* Document the local people and record conversations 

*What you learnt from your sightseeing during the day.

JOURNAL / TRAVEL ALBUM

Cover all the front / back / and inside with "Just Landed" papers
collectables, stickers, stamping, let your creativity unfold. Add photos, words, tickets of the places you visited. 

Within each pocket I have created a fold out insert, which you could add more photos and journalling.

Wanderlust Mini Album - Just Landed

Hello and welcome, today on the Kaisercraft blog I am sharing my projects that I have created with the latest paper collections from Kaisercraft.
 "JUST LANDED", teamed up these exciting papers are the adorable little wooden flourishes. These flourishes can be added to your cards, layouts, journalling and all types of paper craft projects. 



Flourish FL576 Travel Pack

These flourishes are so cute and adorable & so versatile that they can be used for any type of project…..
I created a mini album with photos of our recent trip to Venezia, Italy.
Using the gorgeous little flourishes for decorating the pages, I also created some little embellished paperclips.

To create your own little embellished paper clips (ideal for planners, cards, journal, books etc)

Materials required: 
Flourish Travel Pack FL 576
Just Landed papers (but any will do)
Kraft Glue
Large paperclips (5cm long)
Ribbons, String or twine
Pearls/flowers/rhinestones - any embellishments

and here is my mini album which I have inserted these cute paperclip embellishments. I made my mini album with the Kaisercraft Kraft stock.
