Hot foiling Merry Christmas Card

Hello everyone, Today I have created a very quick Christmas card

Adventure layout - Seaside & Me

Hello everyone!! , thanks for stopping by here today, for today I have created another  "Seaside and Me" layout. 
Using the Seaside and Me collection of ephemera and dies to complete the layout. 



Adventure by the seashore - layout 


I created this layout using the papers from the 12x12 paper pad of
 "Seaside & Me" collection together with some of the dies for the collection
"Seashells" Decorative Die set CO726165
"Deep Sea" Decorative die set CO726169
"Seashells Border" decorative  die CO726174
and also the 
Chipboard word - "Adventure" CO726191 Embossed with
Couture Creations - Mirror Gold CO724970 embossing powder -
over the chipboard word.
Also, the cute little metal charms from the Charm set - CO726234







Spreading some of the 
Anna Griffin Embossing Paste CO724870 over the top on the papers





I then cut 2 Seashells border die CO726174  for the side of the layout
Added a banner at the top and some string for decoration.

Highland Christmas Cards with a Touch of foiling

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by here today at the 
Couture Creations blog. Today I have created some Christmas cards
with the new release HIGHLAND CHRISTMAS, designed by Sue Symth.

Creating with some of the papers from the 12 x 12 paper pad and a couple of the dies. Adding some touches of foiling onto the cards with the leftover foil pieces. Once I have used the foils for my Hot foil projects, I always keep them and here below is a video tip of how I use them to add a touch of foiling to my projects.

Special Birthday cards - Background Floral Vines die

Hi everyone, welcome back

Today, I just want to highlight one of the background dies from the

Couture Creations "Special Occasions" collection.

Background dies are so amazing on cards and on layouts

Today I have created a very blog post, show casing this one particular die from this collection.....

Special Occasions - "Floral Vines" background die...ULT157937

Here are two cards with this die. - it creates a fabulous background. I love it !!

Once I cut the background die in ivory card stock and adhered it on some Pink embossed card stock

Very simple and very elegant.

Using my GO PRESS & FOIL Machine CO725032- 

to create a sentiment at the bottom

with Matte Gold vintage Activated Foil CO725355 and 

Hot foil stamp Word sentiment "Birthday wishes to You"ULT158114

I also created some Foam flowers

with Couture Creations Foamiran White sheets CO726143 

and flower die (any flower die with do)

For my other card I created a background with Oxides first to create a colour background.

The white background die against the bright colour - it just stands out and looks amazing.

These are just so very quick and easy cards both created with the 

Special Occasions - Floral Vines background die.

Special Occasion - Gold Leaf banner die

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by here today at the 
Couture Creations blog. Its my turn today on the blog and today I am showcasing a die from the "Special Occasions' Collection.



The new "Special Occasions" collection is available now. I love some of the dies in this collection - I have one which is so perfect for cards and other projects. 
It is the "Gold Leaf Banner" decorative die. ULT157918.


I have used this die cut as a feature on my two cards for today  - it is so versatile that I also created a Birthday card and also a Christmas card with the new soon to be released "Highland Christmas"
but first how to create this card - step by step.




Using a 5'x7' (18cmx 12.75cm) card base.
Cut one piece of Gold Damask mirror board CO725405 measuring 12cm x 17cm, 
Adhere to the front of white card.
Cut one piece of Ice Crystal card stock ULT200019 measuring 11.5cm x 16.5cm
Place inside C'est La Vie Intricate Background Embossing folder CO725768
Adhere to the front of card, as shown in photograph.
Cut 1 - Gold Leaf Banner with matte Gold mirror board CO725410.
Measure 5cm and cut - adhere to the front of card, leaving a gap in the lower section of banner, this will be covered with flowers and sentiment.



Hot foil the sentiment "Birthday wishes to You" with the Go Press & Foil machine and Gold matte heat activated foil with smooth white glossy card CO726233.

Instructions for hot foil sentiment on card stock with the 
Go Press & Foil machine
Turn the machine on
Open Lid
Place hot foil stamp on Heat plate
Place cut foil coloured side down
Place white glossy card on top
Close lid and let it heat through for 30-40 seconds
Wind slowly through and back in your die cutting machine.

Trim the foiled sentiment, matt a frame of Gold mirror board.
Arrange and secure all pieces as shown in photo.
Decorate with flowers and leaves. Adding some touches of gold foiling on the embossed card stock.





and now here is my second card using the same banner die with the new collection soon to be released
"Highland Christmas"


I created the flowers with Couture Creations Foamiran sheets and a poinsettia flower die ..... how wonderful does the gold go with this gorgeous Christmas paper collection, "Highland Christmas" papers will be available soon.
