I used the "Hunter and Gather " collection of Kaisercraft
I just love the vintage colours of this range.

The photo is of my DH when he was a little boy, such a candid and cute photo.

You Bloom where flowers grow

Kaisercraft August Mix it Up Challenge

Ingredients required for your layout, must include 60 % of Kaisercraft products

A Dash of timeless rubons - I used Treasures & Chandeliers
A stir of a whimsical border - I used Pink Gelato stamp around border
A Bright Fun Photo - MY DD
A sprinkle of flower Blooms - Some Flower blooms and rest from my stash

I used Kaisercraft papers P127, P606 , P358, P 683 and just a grey cardstock for backing.

I think I got carried away with all the flowers and leaves. It's just a fun page.

Spring is around the corner, that's when flowers bloom and birds sing. Less than 2 and half weeks to
go and it will be spring time. YEH YEH, love spring !!!

Inspiration for the colour theme came from "The colour room #71"

Pirates

All boys love Pirates, and I think that every boy has had a Pirate theme
birthday party at least once.
I love the treasure hunt and find the greatest treasure of all
(CHOCOLATE COINS). Argh....my hearties!!!!

My nephew had a Pirate Theme Birthday several years ago.
So, I decided to do a scrap layout of his fun day, he was of course, Captain Skull.
His birthday cake was in the shape of an Treasure Island, complete with lakes,
trees and of course a treasure chest.
I had fun making the little map and if you look much closer you will
see a little message in a bottle and a skull and bones

TODAY

Just finished off this page today, I combined two challenges from 2 blogs for inspiration.
"The Colour Room" blog for their colour palette #68 and
"Bird is the Word" blog word challenge for July is "TODAY".

I Just love the colour palette this week - Pink, Bisque biege.

I made a little tag that hangs on the side - "You have the key to my heart".

Have a great week, kids back at school this week, so time to clean the house, tidy up
and then do some more creative fun.

DREAM - Kaisercraft July #3 Sketch

"Dreams begin with a simple thought and in time they grow." (this is so true)

I have the little quote book called "Believe in the power of a DREAM",
it is my favourite little book, which have such amazing little quotes and
saying that I use a lot in my layouts.

This week has been so busy with school holidays, that I only had time to do
this layout for Kaisercraft their sketch JULY#3. I choose the paper collection
"Pink Gelato" from kaisercraft.
