Just for You card using the Card Deco Essential Dye Inks

Hi everyone welcome back, today I have created a Male card created with some of the New Couture Creations Essentials Ink pads. There are two different types of inks in the collection, they are the Essential Dye Inks and the Essential Pigment Inks. There are a total of 68 different colours and gorgeous hues. 

Today I have created my card using a couple of these inks from the Essential Dye Inks.

Adding some touches of foiled cog chipboards together with the new 

GENTLEMAN"S EMPORIUM COLLECTION of mini stamps.  In particular the
CO726839 Gentleman's Timepiece Mini stamp
CO726841 Vintage Key Mini stamp
CO726838 Crank Start Mini stamp
using these stamps together with the Couture Creations Essential Ink pads, they stamp perfectly and they add great finishing touches to any projects.

These ink pads are coming to a store near you. They are just perfect for paper crafters. I was lucky to have a play with some of them and I have some great tips and techniques to share in the next coming weeks.

INSTRUCTIONS for card ...

1.    Cut Denim card at 10.5cm, score in half with bone folder or with the Multi Purpose scoring boarding, score and fold in half.

2.   Cut Mocha Card card 14.5 x 10 cm, adhere on front of the card.

3.   Cut the Gentleman's Emporium Designer paper CO726814, 7cm x 13.4cm, Using the Timepiece clock mini stamp randomly the image with Essential Dye Deep Sea blue ink pad.  Spread Essential Dye Deep Sea Ink Pad and also Brown Dye ink pad on a mix media craft sheet, spray some water and gently tap colour on the card stock. Dry with heat gun.  Attach three brads at the top left hand corner, secure on front of card with doubled sided tape.

4.   Cut the Designer paper CO726821 6cm x 7.5cm, stamp vintage car with Essential Dye Brown ink, ink edges with some ink and sponge dabber.  Mat this on a piece of Mocha card, apply foam tape underneath and secure on front of card, as shown in photograph.

5.   Foil – with Copper Heat activated foil, chipboard cogs foil these with the assistance of the Go Press & Foil together with the metal adapter plate on platform of the Go Press and Foil machine.  Once heated, place platform of the Go Press & Foil machine through Die cutting machine. Secure foiled chipboard cogs with glue around card, as shown in photograph.

6.   Cut a piece from Gentleman's Emporium Designer paper CO726821, stamp 2 vintage keys mini stamps with Essential Dye Brown ink, Cut with scissors around the keys and secure on card with foam tape, as shown in photograph.

7.   Using the foam dots, arrange Ephemera sentiment “Just for You”, on card. Create a double bow with twine or sting – secure on front of the card.

Celebrate Cards - Esthetica collection

Hi everyone welcome back to my blog .. thanks for stopping by 

Today, I have created two very simple cards - both with an elegant feel to them, using one of the new one of the ESTHETICA new release Cut, Foil & Emboss Dies. 
CO726758 - Decorative Nesting Peacock Frames.

Adding some touches of foiling and using some of the paper of the new 

release GENTLEMAN"S EMPORIUM COLLECTION along with 
hot foil stamps , cut foil and emboss dies together to add finishing touches to my cards.

Included here is a step by step instructions and details are below:

Celebrate card by Adriana Bolzon

1. Both cards are created 5"x7" card bases in white card stock.

2. Cut Matte Gold Lines Mirror board stock 12cm x 17cm, adhering this to the card front.

3. Cut Black card stock 11.3cm x 16.3cm, embossed with polka dot embossing folder, adhering on top of Matte gold mirror board card.

4. Foil the Esthetica Nesting Peacock Frame CO726758 with the Go Press and foil machine and Gold Vintage Matte heat activated foil, Foil larger frame first and then repeat the same process with the smaller frame.

 WITH GO PRESS AND FOIL - 

just a reminder for those who don't know how to.

Turn machine on

Open Lid
Place Metal Conversion plate on platform of machine

Place cut, foil and emboss die on top of metal conversion plate

Place cut foil colour side down (gold matte )

Place card stock on top (Black card stock)

Close lid and let it heat for 30-40 seconds

Wind slowly the platform through and back in your die cutting machine.

5. Foil one of the Borders from the Gentleman's Emporium Border collection hot foil stamp set CO726848 with Heat activated matte gold foil and Black card stock. 

6. Foil the word sentiment "CELEBRATE" from the Gentleman's Emporium collection hot foil stamp set, CO726855 with Heat activated Matte Gold foil and  Black card stock.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FOILING WITH GO PRESS AND FOIL - 

just a reminder for those who don't know how to.

Turn machine on

Open Lid

Place hot foil stamp on heat plate of Go Press and foil machine

Place cut foil colour side down

Place card stock on top

Close lid and let it heat for 30-40 seconds

Wind slowly the platform through and back in your die cutting machine.

Adhere all foiled elements as shown in photograph.
Decorate with leaves and gold flowers, adhere them in the centre of card.

Celebrate in style card by Adriana Bolzon

Using the Esthetica Nesting Peacock Frame CO726758 with the Go Press and foil machine and Silver digital pattern heat activated foil, Foiling only the larger frame. 

Then, using the hot foil stamp frame from the Gentleman's Emporium   collection CO726855.

Cutting one die of the vintage bike from the  the Gentleman's Emporium CO726830 with gold matte mirror board

 Foil one of the Borders from the Gentleman's Emporium Border collection hot foil stamp set CO726848 with Heat activated irridescent  foil and Blue denim card stock.  Foiling the word Sentiment "CELEBRATE IN STYLE" from the Gentleman's Emporium collection CO726847.

Moment in Time layout - Couture Creations

Hi everyone welcome back and thanks for stopping by, it's Adriana here today.

For today, I have created a layout using two papers and chipboards from the 

GENTLEMAN"S EMPORIUM COLLECTION 

and one of the new Gentleman Crafter Cut, Foil and Emboss background dies 

CO726775 Parquet Tiles die

 to create a stencil for the background of my layout and also incorporating two die cuts to my layout . These dies are fabulous for card backgrounds but also thinking outside the square - you can create wonderful backgrounds with the die cuts for other projects. 

Adding some touches of foiling on the special released chipboards from the Gentleman's Emporium collection (unfortunately these chipboards are only available in Australia) Foiling onto chipboard is so so easy with the Go Press and foil machine. So here is my step by step instructions and details are below: List of products are listed at the end of this post.

Moment in Time layout by Adriana Bolzon

The photo is of my Nephew when he was a toddler. He is a bit cute, I think so :)

1. Trim down 1.25 cm around only on two side of the paper CO726821, ink edges with blue ink, adhere onto the centre of Denim Card stock.

2. Cut one Gentleman Crafter Cut, Foil and Emboss background CO726775 Parquet Tiles die with white card stock, through die cutting machine, this will be acting like a stencil.

3. Using a sponge dauber ink randomly around the centre of the layout with blue and dark brown ink.

4. Stamp randomly with the Gentleman's Emporium Ornate Icon Mini stamp CO726840 with brown ink pad on layout. Stamp randomly with script word stamp, as well.

5. Mat photograph with grey card stock and brown card stock. Cut cards from the Gentleman Emporium paper CO726823. 

6. With a white ink pigment ink stamp the whole Gentleman Crafter Cut, Foil and Emboss background CO726775 Parquet Tiles die, place through die cutting machine with a piece of Endless Dusk card stock - repeat process again to achieve 2 parquet tiles die cuts, I love the effect that instead of foiling these dies, stamping can achieve a different and unique result as well.  

7. Adhere all die cuts and matted photograph and papers, on the layout as shown below.

8. Foil all chipboard pieces with the Go Press and Foil machine and Copper Heat Activated Foil CO725697 and Champagne Mirror foil CO725695, Placing a Metal Shim on the platform of the Go Press and Foil machine.

 WITH GO PRESS AND FOIL - 

just a reminder for those who don't know how to.

Turn machine on

Open Lid
Place Metal Shim on platform of machine

Place cut foil colour side down (copper foil)

Place chipboards on top

Place a paper shim over the chipboard and foil for protection of the lid.

Close lid and let it heat for 30-40 seconds

Wind slowly the platform through and back in your die cutting machine.

9. Adhere all foiled elements as shown in photograph.
Decorate with leaves, flowers as shown in photograph.

Triple panel fold card

Hi everyone Adriana here today, and welcome back to the 
Couture Creations blog.

Today, I have a special card - something a little different 
a Triple panel folded card.

Using the Cut, Foil & Emboss dies, papers and dies and hot foil stamps from the new release GENTLEMAN"S EMPORIUM COLLECTION from Couture Creations. Using a couple of different techniques with the Hot foil stamps and also the Cut, foil & emboss dies. To score the card I used the Couture Creations Multi purpose score board 

Here is my card - (this could be a very nice invitation card as well) Using some of the cut foil and emboss dies with no foiling just using pigments inks, these dies create a wonderful element for any projects.

CHERISH EVERY MOMENT CARD 

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Cut white card stock 22.5cm x 18cm , using the Couture Creations Mulit Purpose Score Board scoring at  these marks 2", 3",  6" & 7"

2. Cut  2 x  Gentleman's Emporium  paper 12 x 12 paper CO726820 - 4.5cm x 17cm
Cut 2 x  Gentleman's Emporium paper  CO726820 - 2cm x 17cm
Cut 1 x Gentleman's Emporium paper  CO726820 - 6.8cm x 17cm, 

Ink edges and secure on top of white  card stock with double sided tape.

4. Foil Ornate Background Cut Foil and emboss die. CO726857 from the Gentleman's Emporium Border collection with Heat activated Vintage Gold foil and white card stock.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT FOILING WITH GO PRESS AND FOIL - using the CUT FOIL AND EMBOSS DIES.

just a reminder for those who don't know how to.

Turn machine on

Open Lid

Place Metal conversion plate on platform of Go Press machine
Place cut, foil and emboss die on top - cutting side facing up

Place cut foil colour side down on top of die

Place card stock on top

Close lid and let it heat for 30-40 seconds

Wind slowly the platform through and back in your die cutting machine.

5.  Cut square with white card stock 12cm x 12cm,

6. Cut Gentleman's Emporium  paper 12 x 12 paper CO726820 -11.5cm x 11.5cm

Adhere the foiled Ornate Background piece on top  

7. Using the Gentleman's Emporium  Gentleman's Mini tile cut , foil and emboss die CO726852, ink with pigment blue ink over the top, place a piece of 

Gentleman's Emporium  paper 12 x 12 paper CO726820 on top and place through die cutting machine.

Create 8 of these individuals elements and adhere to the each side of the card, as shown in photograph.

4. Foil 4 of the Spades mini Cut Foil and emboss die with Gentleman's Emporium paper CO726850 from the Gentleman's Emporium  collection with Heat activated copper foil and denim card stock. Using the Go Press and foil machine together with the Metal conversion plate.

Arrange and adhered in the centre of foil ornate background element, as shown in photograph.

Adding some  ephemera elements in the centre of card.
